"What am i even saying ? He'll think I'm trying to stick my nose in his personal matters, stop Athiee " she thought inside her head.
"I already owe you, you saved me 2 times, and i don't know what to do to repay you. So, at least, let me share this with you. I'm good at listening to people, that's all what i did in my life until now". She said as she felt a little shy from Hyunjin's stare.
He only looked at her, with no response. Athiee removed her head, and felt disappointed.
"I know it's a bit awkward, don't mind me. I mean, we don't even know each other that well, and here i am, telling you to share your pain and emotions with me without considering our true relationship. I'm sorry, i got a bit excited" she said trying to push away the embarrassment she felt.
She turned around, and their backs were facing each other now. She looked around and was about to leave.
"It's something, that i can't escape no matter how hard i try. Athiee, i have no problem in sharing with you my emotions, actually, i appreciate you even more now. But, i really can't bring myself to speak about this, at least not now". He said, his head facing the ground.
Athiee felt warmth in her chest, as he was speaking. She wanted to help him, and if she could take his pain away, she would do it.
"Okay then, I'll patiently wait for the day when you'll decide to open up about this topic, and I'll happily listen to you when that time comes" she said and she gave him a beautiful smile.
Hyunjin originally was here to spend time alone, and away from all people, now, he just wished that Athiee will stay with him, and listen to everything he had to say. "I'll happily listen to you when that time comes". That phrase, made him sad somewhere. He knows, that such a time, will never arrive, after breaking her down.
He was thinking, and she said
"Do you mind if i say something ?" She asked, still facing him with her back. He hummed a yes.
"There's no logic in sadness, Hyunjin. We humans, tend to hurt ourselves, very deep, for stupid things. Gaining and losing, has been always a part of life, no one lived only with winning, nor did anyone with losing. When we lose something, or someone that was precious, we immediately start to blame ourselves, or others, while ignoring that this is our biggest truth. The truth that says, we all have a role in this life, and when it's finished, we will vanish.
Some of those losses, are meant to make us more mature, and give us strength to walk the rest of the way. Therefore, i think that we should always be grateful, for those souls, and things". Athiee turned, and gazed at Hyunjin's back."We should let go of what keeps us suffocated, and breathe freely. It's okay if you want to stay alone, but please don't sink alone, don't pretend to be strong". She stepped closer, and stood beside him, always looking at the garden.
"You know, someone told me once, that even the weak ones can manage to grow stronger, when they want to. It's a matter of time. Reconciling with oneself, is important to overcome the hardships, and becoming stronger". She patted his shoulders, and looked away again.Hyunjin was only listening to what she said, while he was remembering that person. Athiee's words made sense, and for the first time, Hyunjin wasn't feeling that bad about himself. He slowly rolled his eyes, and gazed at her.
"Everything is going to be alright, right ?" He asked her.
"Of course. Just remember, when a thousand good thing doesn't last for ever, how can a bad one ? Cheer up, and face it all with that cute smile of yours !" She said with full excitement.
Athiee froze at her last words, she looked up and saw Hyunjin staring at her
