The chair slowly turned around, revealing the face of that person. The air tensed with rivalry as their eyes locked, and Hyorine prepared for the confrontation that awaited her. Hyunjin's sly smile hinted at a calculated move. His eyes locked on her, refusing to look away."Hyorine !" A voice echoed from behind her, as Zack barged inside hurriedly. His racing breaths indicated that he came running, and his silence hinted at his surprise that was equal to Hyorine's. She didn't look back at Zack and continued staring at the man before her. Zack looked at Hyunjin in disbelief, then at Hyroine in both suspense and curiosity.
Zack came running after he heard from one of the employees about Hyunjin's sudden appearance at the company this morning, what made it worse is that Hyorine didn't know as no one dared to utter a word when they were caught sulking at work and peeking at the Hwang heir this morning. However, it was already late for him after he realized that he couldn't prevent her from entering the office as he arrived late.
Hyorine stood silent, gazing at Hyunjin who looked at her mysteriously.
He smirked, resting his hands on the desk before him."What a fate we share. It truly makes me thrilled," he uttered looking at the sand glass that was placed on his left. Hyunjin smiled faintly and gazed at Hyorine again.
"Long time no see, my dear,"
"Hwang Hyunjin... In my office?"
She declared calmly. Hyorine appeared calm and collected, successfully concealing the fact that she was pondering the same thoughts she had yesterday. Why was he here? What had brought him to her office? Had he discovered something? Hyorine was disturbed by some questions that were playing in her mind. She tried to maintain her composure and appear uninterested, while her grip tightened. She kept her eyes on Hyunjin while hiding her hand from his view. Zack watched the situation carefully, and he noticed that Hyorine was moving her hand behind her back.
"Hyorine..." Zack thought, feeling sorry and angry about this man's impact on her. Hyunjin gazed at her, his smile refusing to fade away. However, before he could say anything, Zack stepped closer to Hyorine and talked
"Excuse me, sir. I'm Miss Wang's assistant and the head manager of this company. We are aware of your identity and are honored to have you here. However, I'm afraid your current behavior is not acceptable in our company." Zack uttered confidently, gaining Hyorine's attention. She gazed at him while he didn't move his eyes away from Hyunjin.
"With all due respect, you cannot just barge in and act as if everything is normal. I am afraid I will have to ask you to leave, sir." Zack continued, his eyes challenging Hyunjin with every word he uttered.
"I'm sure Ma'am shares the same opinion," Zack continued, making Hyunjin realize that he was unwelcome. Hyorine gazed at Zack briefly, then looked at Hyunjin who laughed faintly as he got up.
"I heard that the W&J company has one of the best views of Seoul city, and I didn't believe it," Hyunjin declared, gazing at the wide window glass before him. He smirked, then looked at both Zack and Hyorine
"I had to see it for myself, how something you don't believe turns out to be true," he declared, his eyes shifting towards Hyorine.
"Mr Hwang-"
"I would have considered your offer, but I have an important matter that needs to be discussed," Hyunjin smiled and continued. "I am not planning to leave until I have discussed it with Miss Wang." Hyunjin smiled declaring his words, walking around the desk. He stopped, leaning on the desk and facing them.
