Both Samantha and Gayel expressed great interest in the coffee shop suggested by Dayhee. It was their first time there, and they surely loved it.
" Glad that it's to your liking " replied Dayhee happily
" But why did you only order coffee ? You should have drank something else " Samantha asked
" It's okay, I like the coffee here and I'm more comfortable with it " Said Dayhee with a smile
" Yeah but next time you're not allowed to drink your precious coffee ! You'll join us for some drinks baby !! " said Gayel with excitement making the other two laugh
" Speaking of which, have you seen the chat group photos ! People are really crazy ! " Said Gayel while taking her phone and showing some pics to the girls
" Oh my ! "
commented Samantha jokingly
Dayhee was smiling while looking at the lively Gayel and Samantha. She sipped some of her coffee, then looked back at Gayel's phone. However, something caught her attention.
" I told you it's the manager himself ! "
" You're unbelievably unbelievable ! How did you manage to get this ? "
Samantha and Gayel's voices were fading slowly in Dayhee's ears, as her eyes followed someone around. To her surprise, she was only focused on that person, completely disconnected for a moment.
His tired face was prominent, hair as black as the night, eyes as sharp as a knife obscured by his little spectacles. His silent yet powerful presence and aura... Indeed, he couldn't go unnoticed.
Her eyes widened, not expecting to be meeting this person this quickly, in such circumstances.
" Day-! "
" It's.... Him ! " she thought to herself, still completely taken away
" Dayh-! "
" Dayhee !! "
" Y-Yes !! "
Dayhee shouted after finally hearing Gayel's voice.
" What's wrong ?! I called you so many times but you were so out of it- "
" Yeah was I ? I'm sorry I think I should use the restroom !! I'll be right back ! " she said and stood up immediately, leaving the two clueless girls behind
" Is she okay ? " Gayel wondered
" I hope so " Samantha replied while looking at Dayhee's empty chair.
Dayhee walked around the restroom, trying to figure out what she should do. However, she was still taken aback by the coincidence she encountered.
" Talk about bad timing... "
She said and sighed. Dayhee looked around, in hopes to see that man again.
" I wasn't planning to meet you so soon... but you came to me on your own feet " she thought to herself.
