Not wasting the sweet gathering they were blessed with, Hyorine and Seungmin decided to spend the rest of the day together catching up about each other's lives. Although it hasn't been that long of separation, for them, it was as if they didn't see each other for ages. Sitting by the silent shores of the beautiful Han River, under a sky of thousands of stars and a lovely moon, even the city's lights couldn't match the beauty of that scenery.Seungmin breathed the cold fresh air inside his lungs while leaning his head back a bit as a sign of his satisfaction. Hyorine gazed at him then smiled, her gaze shifted towards the river once more.
" It has been so long since I last visited this spot, Mother... " She whispered in a calm tone
" I'm sorry for not coming that often. You must've felt lonely all that time " She added, feeling the longing for her beloved mother. Pain stroked her as Seungmin pinched her little nose as he smiled
" I'm here. I'll always be here for you, so don't be sad "
Hyorine smiled and replied
" I am not sad, I'm relieved. Having the ones we love around us is a blessing, but that doesn't mean that not having them with us is bad. It can be sad, painful, unbearable, and even mournful, However, " she gazed at him and added, her hand placed on her heart
" They're always here, no matter what. They live with us, until the very end, and that's why I am not sad "
" Right, they are always here " Seungmin smiled at her words, remembering his grandfather who had passed away too. He took a deep breath and then asked her
" So, how was it? "
" How was what ? " she answered
" I heard Chan moved to Australia "
A moment of silence filled the place. Neither Seungmin nor Hyorine looked in each other's direction. Both fixed their sight on the flowing river, each waiting for words from the other one
" What about him? Did the news surprise you? "
" It's not like I didn't expect it. I already knew what you were up to. Yet... " He replied
" Yet ? " she asked
" Yet I can't help but worry about you " He wanted to say but stopped. Hyorine smiled while she drew random forms on the ground with a wooden stick she picked earlier.
" Don't worry about me, Seungmin "
His eyes widened at her words. She knew exactly what he was thinking about and that scared him. Between Hyorine and Seungmin, sometimes words weren't necessary for them to understand one another.
" The road is still long, it's only the beginning. If I become weak now, How am I supposed to find the strength in me to finish the things I started? No, not yet " She lifted her head, then looked at him
" I started a fire, and I'll never stop it until it swallows them all. Because simply, It's too early to forget that man, Seungmin "
