All the way to her home, Athiee kept thinking
« Where is this leading me ? ». She remembered her moments with Hyunjin, and can help but feel confused. « Everything is moving so fast, just like a movie » she thought to herself.
« Athiee darling ! » a beautiful voice called her name, snatching her from her thoughts. She looked back, and saw a middle aged woman, smiling at her.
« Aunt Mura ! » Athiee said with happiness. Mura came closer and hugged Athiee, she really, and truly loved this child, as her own daughter.
Athiee broke the hug and looked at the woman's face.
« How are you doing ? It's been a long time since i last visited you »
« Well, we still the same darling. Your uncle woonjunk told me about your last meeting, we have a lot of things to discuss ! » she said excited. Athiee giggled and replied
« But i have to inform dad or else he'll be worried »
« No need for that, I've already told him that I'll steal you tonight. Plus, i prepared all your favourite dishes, you can't say no". Mura said while caressing Athiee's hair.
"I can't say no even i wanted to" Athiee said and left with mura to her house.
Mura and woonjunk were Athiee's neighbours. They knew her mom since she was 20 years old, she was Mura's favourite girl. After she passed away, Mura felt sad, and sorry for Athiee. Since then, she took care of Athiee as her second mother. She is very lovely, and care deeply, that's what made Athiee feel comfortable with her. They always shared secrets, and talked their thoughts, ideas and even problems. Mura was the only person Athiee could have a "Mother-Daughter" conversation with.
They arrived at the house, woonjunk was waiting for them.
"Look who's here, my favourite girl !" He said and Athiee hugged him. Those two, were indeed the missing part in her family.
The dinner went well, they ate, talked and laughed together. Woonjunk was recalling all the clumsy things he once did, while Athiee and Mura couldn't help but laugh at him. After dinner, Athiee went to the garden. Mura was a nature lover, she planted all sorts of beautiful flowers, and plants.
"This is mesmerizing" Athiee commented. The scenery was very beautiful. She sat, and kept watching in silence. Mura prepared some tea, and followed her. She sat beside her, and handed her the tea.
"Emm aunt Mura ! Everything you make is very special " said athiee when she tasted the tea. The lady smiled and drunk hers.
"So, how's things going for you ?" Mura asked
"Everything is okay, same with my studies. Nothing much changed"
"Hum. Anything else ? I mean, how's your love life ?" Athiee froze at the question, and didn't reply directly.
Mura smirked as she watched Athiee.
"Ohooo ! My Athiee is keeping secrets to herself, i see"
"No ! There's no such a thing !.... I mean..... " Athiee paused, rethinking what she was about to say.
"Actually there is someone" she said directly. Athiee for once, felt the need to accept her growing feelings towards Hyunjin, and because she was speaking with mura, she wanted to let everything out.
"I'm all ears darling" Mura said giving the younger one a warm smile. Athiee told her everything, since their first meeting until the very last thing.
Mura was happy for Athiee, but at the same time, felt wrong. "Something is off" Mura thought. But seeing how Athiee looked happy while talking about Hyunjin, made her swallow the suspicions she felt.
"Hum that's just like a movie" Mura said and laughed. Athiee wanted to confirm something, she nervously played with her fingers, not knowing how to ask.
