"Do you mind repeating what i just said, Miss Wang ?"
A teacher's voice reached Athiee's ears. She looked at him, and he seemed pissed. She stood up and said
« We were talking about the possibles ways to solve the equation » she said.
"Hum, alright. Please give more attention to the lesson, Miss Wang. I don't like seeing students daydreaming in my class". The teacher was so strict, and Athiee nodded in response.
"Stop thinking about unnecessary things, Athiee". Chan whispered and Athiee gazed at him. She gave him a nervous smile and focused on the lesson.
After class, Athiee was going to bring her book, just as she stepped out of the room, a bunch of girls started talking about her. She heard them, and decided to stay and listen to their conversation.
"Pfff that freak just left, daydreaming ? I wonder about what" a girl said
"You mean who". Said jessi, with a smirk.
"Tch, as if he will give attention » lia commented on what jessi said.
« Well he is giving her attention, i heard he has been spending time with her ». Another girl
« Shut up all of you, Hyunjin's time is worth more than that ». Lia said, angrily.
Athiee walked away, thinking about she heard. « You should expect nothing..... i should stay away from him, i have to ». She thought deeply, as she reached the lockers.
She opened the locker looking for her book. Someone tapped on the locker, making her gaze at him.
« Hi there » he said gently, while Athiee just looked at him.
« You look pale, are you sick ? » he said, looking at her. Nothing was heard as a response.
« Hey ! Dreamy girl where are ?? » Hyunjin said loudly to the girl in front of him as she was spacing out.
« Oh, sorry sorry... i was just thinking ». She said and quickly turned to close her locker.
« Here you are, Hyunjin ! i need you for a brief time» someone came and said to Hyunjin. He looked at Athiee, and said
« Don't go before i talk with you, stay here » then he stepped away with that boy. She looked at her book, thinking.
« Whenever i decide to escape away, whenever i say it's the last time i'll meet him, he always finds his way to me ». She sighed and gazed at the long haired boy talking with that boy.
« It's becoming hard to run away from you Hyunjin. Even if i know i'm not the right person for you, even if everyone around me thinks that we're not compatible, you always give me the opposite hope ».
Hyunjin finished his conversation with the boy, and looked at Athiee. They exchanged the looks as he stepped closer to her.
« It's the last time i'll walk like this to her »
« It's the last time i walk away from him ».
Two conflicting thoughts flashed in their minds, in that moment.
"So i was going to-" Hyunjin stopped and looked at the bunch of students who were heading their way.
"Run ! Someone took the principal wig and he's following us !!"
Athiee looked surprised, not only for what the boy just said, but also for the fact that Hyunjin pulled her along with him, and they are running with the other kids as well.
"What are you doing ?!" She asked in a surprise
"Saving our damn lives as you can see" Hyunjin said while holding her hand.
"I did nothing ! Why should i escape ?"
