Later That Night, at Hyunjin's houseLaying down with nothing special to do, Hyunjin gazed at the ceiling with empty looks. His hand moved back and forth as he threw the small stress ball he owned against the wall repeatedly. Since this morning, nothing seemed to go his way. Hyunjin sighed heavily then slowly placed his left hand under his head, massaging the lower part of his head. He closed his eyes, seeking peace. However, his meditation was interrupted by a sudden knock on his door.
"Who's here?" he asked without opening his eyes. A maid entered the room, bowing at him. She then announced the arrival of an unexpected guest, whom Hyunjin wasn't waiting for. Hyunjin opened his eyes and moved, getting off his bed.
"Seo Changbin? Here, at this hour?" Hyunjin asked confused. The maid nodded and Hyunjin sighed. "Okay, send him to my room," he said and the maid bowed again, then left the room. Hyunjin sighed and then walked towards his balcony. He watched the night stars with deep looks, then looked at the roses that grew past his balcony. Hyunjin admired them, in every way possible. A gentle smile graced his lips as he moved towards the scarlet roses. He slowly grabbed one of the roses, and smelled its fragrance, enjoying it. His face showed a frustrated expression as he noticed a cut on his finger. A cut that was caused by the thorns of that red rose. The knocking sound reached his ears again, and Hyunjin ordered the person to come in without looking at the door. His focus was on the cut, and the deep red blood that came out of that cut.
"Hyunjin," uttered Changbin calmly. Hyunjin smiled and looked back at Changbin. "Changbinnah~~ what brings you here this late at night?" Hyunjin asked. He was being his usual energetic self around Changbin. However, Changbin was oddly calm and silent. Hyunjin gazed at his friend who seemed lost in his thoughts.
"What's going on with you? Are you sick?" Hyunjin uttered jokingly. Again, Changbin wasn't giving any reaction. He seemed genuinely troubled by something that Hyunjin couldn't put a finger on.
"Seo Changbin, what's up with you?" Hyunjin asked seriously. Changbin slowly lifted his eyes and looked at Hyunjin with a mysterious gaze.
Earlier This Day
"Wang Athiee, GET YOURSELF TOGETHER!!" Seungmin shouted as he held both Hyorine's arms tightly. Hyorine stopped and gazed at him, finally coming back to her senses.
"You don't have to worry! Hyunjin didn't and will never find out. I promise you!" Seungmin declared, making Hyorine cry. After she calmed down, Hyorine left with Seungmin who offered to drop her home so she could rest. However, s they left, an unexpected person appeared to be there.
The man gazed at where Seungmin and Hyorine were both standing moments ago. Although he was surprised by the shocking truth, his demeanor remained calm. Changbin gazed at that place, a fierce look in his eyes. As such clue aligned, Changbin unraveled the layers of secrecy, only to be struck by the astonishing revelation: Wang Hyorine, the elusive figure veiled in shadows, so mysterious and enigmatic, bore a secret identity he never dared to fathom.
"Wang...Athiee?" Shock rippled through Changbin's being, shattering all his expectations.
"Wang Hyorine... Is the same Wang Athiee?"
