I cradled Tilly's head in my hands, her arms fondly wrapped around my torso in a warm hug, as the rain began to cry tears of happiness. I felt it's first tear hit my cheek and run down it. I suddenly understood it's mission - it had watched us belong to each other and knew what to do. I looked down at her perfectly formed face, noticing the rain running down her rosy pink cheeks and admired the pure twinkle in her eyes as she lifted her head to my level. I searched her eyes longingly as her cheeks started curling up at the sides into a wide grin which showed off her beautiful and pearly white teeth. Tugging at my heart strings, my mouth began turning up at the sides too until it was almost as if we were mirroring each other.
I looked away from her and lifted my head upwards to look at the midnight world as the sky let out a burst of emotion; I turned back to Tilly to see her eyes following my every move. My eyes quickly diverted to the street up ahead of us and I slyly grinned as my hands slipped out of hers, my legs carrying me down the street and glancing back at her. My mouth let out a screech of happiness which subtly subsided into laughter, echoing through the empty street.

I span round in a flash to see Tilly smiling and giggling as she darted after me; I could see how her eyes lit up at the pure joy of this moment. And I knew in this moment that I loved her. I loved everything on her. I loved her. I loved her with my whole being.
She shrieked out in surprise as the sky let it all out. My face glowed like a ray of sun as she stopped dead in her tracks and let the raindrops gracefully attack her. I ran up to her, flicking my blonde, dripping hair back and reached out my arms to her stomach as I tickled her. She cried out in joy as her diamond blue eyes met mine, both of us laughing out in happiness. God I loved this girl.

We walked home hand in hand. His hands were a lot bigger than I had expected them to be. Of course I had touched his hands a couple of times by accident, but I had never held them: they were as soft as marshmallows and I couldn't help but run my fingers over his veins on the flip side of his hand.

As we reached the steps, Jim softly let me know that I was "free to sleep at his if I felt like I wanted to anytime". His piercing eyes stared into mine as his cheeks blushed throughout the sentence. I was too grateful for his offer, and let him know with a quiet "thank you" and lovingly smile. He was about to disappear up his set of steps to his window when I stopped him. "Thank y-" I started loudly to grab his attention, he turned round with an innocent but desperate look on his face. I laughed a little and looked down before pushing a strand of my hair behind my ears. "-ou for tonight" my face shone with water and my hair ran thoroughly. Jim's smile returned from its shortened vacation to his face as he calmly expressed "It was my pleasure" before engulfing me in a tight and warm hug despite the dripping wet coldness running through our clothes. I smiled lightly as he pulled away and bounced his way back up to his room.

As I reached the top of my stairs, I glanced over at Jim's window to notice he had left the window open a few inches. My mouth twinkled as I turned my head back to my room and climbed inside, carefully closing my window and pulling the curtains.
I pulled off my soaking clothes and slipped on my smooth and welcoming pyjamas that were waiting for me on my pillow. I threw my earlier clothes to the side of room and climbed inside my inviting bed. The softness of the mattress and duvet warmed my body as I fell into a deep slumber. But the thought of Jim warmed my heart.
