I lay down on the bed, Jake is still out in the living room talking to Kylie. I've been hesitant to him all week, not that he notices.
What really bugs me is he knows I don't like him hanging around her at all. We talked about it too, he didn't listen at all.
Another thing that bugs me, is he hasn't noticed. It's almost ten o'clock and he's still out in the living room talking to her.
"Night," I hear Jake say to her as he starts to walk to the room.
I quickly close my eyes and I hear him open the door. I feel him sit on the bed next to me.
"Are you asleep?" he asks quietly, putting his hand on my side. I shake my head.
"No," I say back. He lays down and I feel him peck my cheek. I sigh and he turns off the light. He turns to the other side, not facing the back of my head but the other way.
"Good night," he says back in the same voice he was using before. I don't say anything back, just close my eyes, trying to force myself to sleep.
