My phone buzzing on the nightstand next to me wakes me up.

I sigh and sit up, rubbing my eyes. Alex's name is displayed across the screen. I answer it and look over at Jake who isn't disturbed at all by the obnoxious ringing.

"Yeah?" I ask and stand up, walking outside of the bedroom so I don't wake him up.

"You gotta come get me Jamie," Alex says, slurring his words a little.

"Where are you?" I say tiredly back, throwing my hair up in a loose bun.

"Lucky's, the guy behind the counter told me that if I don't leave, they are gonna call the cops," he says back and I sigh.

Lucky's is a local club that is about a half hour away from our house. Where we live, there is only about three or four clubs and Lucky's is one of them.

The good thing is, he didn't try to drive home on his own, he called me instead of driving home himself. The bad part is, he's underaged. He's only nineteen like me.

"Jesus Christ. Give me a while, sit outside and wait for me," I say and start searching for the truck keys.

"Thanks, I love you so much," he says back and I shake my head, hanging up. I grab the keys and stuff my phone and wallet into my pocket.

I walk out, quietly shutting the door. I unlock the truck door and get in the drivers side, starting it.

After a little over a half hour I pull up to the bar that is flooded with people since it's 2:00 a.m. on a Saturday.

I get out and lock the truck, lightly swinging the keychain on my finger. I look around for Alex and don't see him. I walk to the bouncer who is standing outside of the doors. He looks at me up and down, shaking his head.

"I'm just looking for someone," I say loudly over the music.

"Who?" he asks in a slightly deep voice, talking loud like me.

"Tall blonde?" I ask and he shakes his head. "Lip ring and really drunk?" I ask again and he shrugs, looking over his shoulder, behind the club. I nod and walk behind it.

I see a few people, som kissing, drinking, dancing. A little bit of everything.

Unfortunately, the only ones kissing happens to be Alex and some girl he must have found. I lightly tap his shoulder and he turns around to me. He smiles and hugs me tightly. I push him away and the girl behind him laughs.

"Let's go," I say to him and he shakes his head.

"Can't we stay for a little bit?" he asks and I shake my head back.

"No, let's go," I repeat and he sighs obviously.

"Fine," he says back and we both get into the car.

That night, I dropped him off and then went back to my house.
