"Jamie?" Jake asks and I look at him. He snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry." I say and look back up at him. He lightly smiles and shakes his head.

"It's fine," he says and smiles. He lightly kisses my forehead and I turn back to the TV. I lightly hold onto his arm that is around me. If feels as if the couch is just big enough for the both of us.

"Hey," Gavin and Gemma say at almost the same time. I smile and look at them.

"Hey," Jake says back and I see that Frankie, Gemma's friend that has a huge crush on Jake, is following behind them.

"Hi Jake," Frankie says and he smiles down at me.

"Hi Frankie," Jake says back and Frankie smiles.

"Enjoy your full day?" I ask and Gavin walks to his room. Gemma throws her stuff down.

"Enjoy exams?" Gemma says back and I sarcastically laugh a bit. Since the high school has finals, the high school gets half days and the middle school has to go the full day.

"Very funny." Jake says and I lay my head on his arm.

"Dad's coming home early," Gemma says and Jake nods.

Jakes dad actually likes me, he seems like a big guy but he's not really. Jake and I have been dating for about thirteen weeks now, almost a four months everything seems to be going well. Jake did make me eat, he has been lately. He either stays the night at my house or I stay the night.

"We have to go work on our project," Gemma says and I nod. Gemma looks at Frankie.

"Uh, yeah." Frankie says and looks at Jake. "Bye Jake." she says and waves at him.

"Bye Frankie," he says and I can tell he's trying not to laugh. Frankie giggles and Gemma rolls her eyes. They walk back to Gemma room. He lightly strokes my hair and I smile.

This right now has to be the happiest I've been in forever. He knows I take depression and anxiety medication and he's fine with it. He found out about my scars a while ago when we were about to.. you know.

"No sex on the couch," I hear Jakes dad say and I look at him. He smiles at me and I smile back. I see a girl follow behind him. "Come here everyone!" he yells loudly. The girl looks at us and smiles. Jake slowly sits up and so do I, putting my feet up on the couch.

Gemma and Frankie come out first, along with Gavin who comes out as well. Anthony comes out last, I actually don't remember him coming home.

"Who is who?" the girl asks and looks around at all of us.

"That's my oldest son Jake and that's his girlfriend Jamie," he says and starts with us. He moved over to them. "This is Antony my youngest, Gavin and Gemma the twins, and then..." he looks at Frankie.

"Frankie, Gemma friend." she says and he nods.

His dad isn't usually this happy, I mean he seems really... different.

"Who is that?" I whisper I Jake and he shrugs.

"This is Carrie, my girlfriend." he finishes and everyone sort exchanges looks in disbelief. His dad is probably about 32 since he was a father at 14 with Jake.

Jakes mom left him and his dad got full custody. With the twins and Anthony, all three of them have the same Mom. They go to her house on weekends.

"You're kidding." Jake says and I can tell he is really confused. Late at night, Jake and I get into really deep conversations, that being where we learn most things about each other. Like I know that after his divorce, he swore we was never going to date again. I can tell he's a little tense, I lightly rub his back trying to sooth him.

"Nope," he says back and Jake looks at me. I see a little girl walk along along with Brady, my stomach sinks in. Brandy stares at both of us for a minute.

"This is Savannah," Carrie says and motions to the little girl. She smiles at us and Jake looks at me. I look back and I lightly bite my lip. "And this is Brady, I'm sure you guys have seen each other." she finishes.

"Yeah, actually we have." I say and Brady glares at me. My heart beats fast. Jake lightly puts his hand on my thigh and rubs it with his thumb. I lightly peck his lips. He smiles and I smile back a little. I lightly put my hand on his and Brady looks at us in disgust.

"Get a room." Brady says and Jake looks at him.

"You're in my house." Jake says back. Everyone looks at us and I ignore it.

"Do you want to go back to my house?" I ask Jake and he nods. I have already dropped my stuff off at my house. He stands up and I do as well. As Jake walks by he hits is shoulder into Brady. We walk out without saying anything.

He takes a deep breath and looks at me. We start to walk to my house. I look at him.

"This is fucked up," he says and he looks back at me. I nod, I stop him and he looks at me.

"It probably won't even work out, especially if she's anything like her son." I say and he shakes his head a bit. I can tell he's really shaken up about this.

"I don't know," he says and I keep looking at him.

"It's going to be okay," I say and he smiles a little. I stand on my toes and he pecks my lips.

"You know, you're really short." he says and we start walking. I hit his arm and he laughs.

"You're like freakishly tall." I say and he smiles.
