"Then let's go!"

"Yeah. Let's go." he pulled me through the villa.

Naupo kami sa isang duyan doon sa rooftop. He handed me the chips and a drink.

Siya naman ay nagbukas ng canned beer.

"Is this your property?" I was talking about the villa and this...pond.

"Binigay to sa amin ni Lola."

"Amin?"

"My cousins." kumuha siya ng ilang pirasong chichirya sa hawak ko.

I nodded. Tama nga siya. Sobrang ganda kapag dito mo pinanood. I just realized... it's always beautiful when watched from a certain body of water. Beaches, lakes and even here.

It must be because they compliment each other.

"Mahilig ka talaga sa ganito, hindi ba?" tukoy niya sa papalubog na araw.

"Yeah." I muttered looking at the view. "It's the most beautiful ending." I chuckled lightly as I rememeber the caption on my ig post back then.

"Yeah. I remember your caption years ago. The truth is, it never left my mind. Especially the years you were away." he said hoarsely.

Bumaling ako sa kanya. "Do you agree with me?"

Umiling siya. "I hate endings." mahina siyang tumawa at pinagsalikop ang mga kamay namin.

I gasped. "Who loves ending, anyway? I just love sunsets because it's so beautiful."

Ngumiti siya at ibinaon ang mukha sa balikat ko. Parang may gusto siyang sabihin ngunit ayaw niyang ituloy.

We went home past six. I really thought we will eat at their villa but he said there's no househelps or even raw foods in there.

"I have something to show you tomorrow." hinalikan niya ang pisngi ko.

I nodded swiftly and smiled at him. There is no point at asking what it is because I know he won't tell it.

"Kayo na ba ulit ni Xy?" tanong ni Mommy habang kumakain kami.

I simply shooked my head. Not yet... I didn't voice that out.

"Naku! Marami pa namang babae ang umaaligid diyan!" ngumisi si Deila.

"I agree. Check his social media accounts, couz. Daming nagtatag na mga babae." Yra this time.

Kumunot ang noo ko. "Anong gusto niyong palabasin." I'm sure as hell that Xy is loyal and they're aware of it.

I heard the boys laughing. While the rest of them are eyeing me.

"Na ang bagal mo." humagalpak si Deila.

I rolled my eyes on her.

Mahimbing ang tulog ko nang gabing yon. Hindi iniisip ang mga pinagsasabi nila.

Early in the morning, I texted Xy not to pick me up this day.

Wala pang isang minuto bago ko naisend yon ay nagring na ang telepono ko.

"What's wrong?" yan agad ang pambungad niya.

I laughed. "Nothing. I wanna use my car just this day." it's half true. I consider the thing he'll show me as a surprise. So I wanna surprise him too.
