Develyn was the last member of the Dreemurr family to wake up for today. Sans texted Develyn that Gaster is awake and alert.
Develyn is glad that the rescue effort he performed yesterday paid life. He brought an ancient scientist back from the dead, and Alphys was able to put Gaster in a physical body for the first time in 14 years.
Develyn went downstairs to eat breakfast with the family, where the family did eggs in any way. This means that eggs will be made in a way the person requested them to be. Develyn opted for scrambled eggs.
"I'm guessing Gaster is awake now?" Asgore asked.
"Yeah, he is," Develyn answered.
"Wait... He's back?" Asriel asked.
"He is," Develyn answered.
"I don't recall hearing about him," Frisk added.
"He was the royal scientist before Alphys. Once he finished building the CORE, he mysteriously disappeared. After a week, Alphys was recruited as the current royal scientist," Asgore added.
"Ahh," Frisk added.
The family finished eating breakfast and went around to doing a bunch of activities in the backyard. It was a field day for the Dreemurrs, but it was halted in the afternoon due to impending weather. That didn't stop them, as they played board games inside. Develyn kept his win streak in Battleship up, while Asriel finally triumphed in the game he struggled with the most, Jenga.
Toriel got dinner ready, as she made her famous beef stew once again. Things were normal until a loud thud can be heard on the front door.
"That's odd. Didn't the mail come a few hours ago?" Asgore asked.
"It did, and none of us ordered anything from Amazon as far as my knowledge goes," Toriel added.
"I got it!" Develyn shouted, as he ran over to the door. Develyn opened the door and behind it was a boy that was about Develyn's age. He looked to be seriously injured, as he was clutching his stomach, hiding the seriously large gash that was oozing out blood. "Oh, by the Nine Divines! Come on!" Develyn stated, helping the young boy up.
"Oh my goodness, what happened?!" Toriel asked in complete shock.
"I got attacked," the boy stated as Develyn set him down on a chair in the dining room. The boy looked to be like Frisk, but a complete gender swap version of it. He wore a blue shirt, blue jeans, and had spiky hair.
"Hold on. Asriel, can you get a shirt from your guys' room?" Toriel asked.
"Yeah," Asriel answered, walking straight up the stairs.
"Gorey, can you get the bandages from the first aid kit?" Toriel asked.
"Sure thing, Tori," Asgore answered. Asriel came down with a clean shirt, which was one of his, and Asgore came with bandages. Toriel soon got to work with the young boy. Sterilizing the wound, and putting a bandage on him. "Remind me to check it later tonight, OK?" Toriel asked.
"OK," the boy answered.
Dinner was about ready, so Toriel called the family to get dinner. Most of the kids were able to serve themselves, except for Dark and Dawn, so Toriel served them. The boy wanted to eat something, so he went and got a plate and joined the line. Develyn and Asriel served themselves first when the boy hugged Frisk out of nowhere.
Heads were being turned in the dining room. Frisk was stunned when the boy hugged her, but then she realized the embrace was something different. It wasn't some proxy boyfriend Frisk kept secretive from the family, but a pair of siblings that haven't seen each other in nearly four years.
"You do realize you scared all of us four years ago, right?" the boy asked.
"I know, I plan to never do that again," Frisk answered.
"Uh... This is awkward," Asriel muttered.
"Guys, I know this might seem weird, but this is my brother, Andy," Frisk noted.
Shocked reactions went along the family. Toriel and Asgore's eyes grew huge to the point they could pop out of their eye sockets if they really wanted to. Asriel's mouth opened wide.
"Whaaaa?!" Develyn in confusion.
"Hehe. Guess you guys weren't expecting this," Andy added.
"Clearly not at all," Toriel added.
"And that accent, is it close to a country in another part of the world?" Asriel asked to Andy.
"It's Spanish. I have Spanish heritage, mostly on my mother's side," Andy added.
"Are you two actually related?" Asgore asked.
"We are. You can run as many blood and DNA tests you want, you will find ties to us as siblings," Frisk answered.
The two siblings soon went around to eating dinner. Andy told a little more about himself to the Dreemurrs, like how's he's an entire year older than Frisk, and he's actually older than Develyn, with his birthday being in September. After dinner, Asriel and Develyn were tasked with cleaning the kitchen, which caused Andy and Frisk to catch up on more personal things.
"So, any idea why you ran off?" Frisk asked.
Andy looked at his sister, and sighed. "Frisk... I'm sorry to say this, but our parents are dead. The new serial killer killed them a couple nights ago. Before he died, my father told me to run as far and as fast I can. I got attacked earlier today by her, but something unknown spared my life," Andy explained.
"Oh my gosh... I didn't know about that," Frisk added.
"Frisk, you're the last one in my family. I don't want you to go next," Andy stated.
"I get that, Andy. But this serial killer is more dangerous that expected. I mean, everyone is staying in their homes, cause they don't to be killed by her," Frisk explained.
"I get you're now part of the most powerful family when it comes to magic, but I think they're gonna struggle, it's gonna take someone different," Andy added.
"Develyn is quite powerful. Possibly the most powerful being on Nirn. I mean, he took down Chara and Flowey three years ago," Frisk explained.
"I guess I should count on him," Andy noted.
Eventually, bed time rolled around. Andy was confused on where to sleep, but that was decided rather quickly. Since Develyn and Asriel sleep in one bed, Andy decided to share a bed with Frisk. Albeit a bit weird, but Andy decided to snuggle with Frisk, mostly to catch up on the hugs the pair of siblings missed.
