Bête Noire is still wanted by the Ebott County Police Department. Many people recall seeing her, and trying to kill her, as the government ordered Bête Noire on sight, but it would result in them getting killed, rather than Bête herself. She was stunned that the attack at the school went as planned a month prior, those extra 64 SOULs have made her more powerful.
No, Bête isn't a Hybrid like Develyn, she gets power from the SOULs of the dead people by siphoning the fear from them, which makes her more powerful. However, her time might be running out. The Dreemurrs are the most powerful family when it comes to magic, and currently, Develyn is training Andy to become a powerful wizard. She might consider a visit to the graveyard to bring a notable Dreemurr back to life, but also reanimating a specific flower under the mountain.
For right now, Bête Noire is hiding out in downtown Ebott, hiding in the alleyway to make sure she doesn't get detected. She saw a mysterious white pile of ash in front of her. Little does she know, these were the ashes of Flowey, who was burned to ash by Develyn in 2016. Bête Noire took the ash and began to walk the desolate streets.
"This is getting stupid. No one is out here, and Akumu is hungry," Bête mumbled to herself. She and Akumu started to walk toward a myserious building that had the lights on. She snuck into the building from the back, cause coming into the front will make her get detected. The door in the back was locked, so she used a magic spell to unlock the door, which caused an obvious racket. Bête snuck in and hid immediately.
"Who's there?!" a scientist yelled. The scientist went to the area the back door was, but he didn't find Bête Noire sitting there. Once the scientist left for bed, Bête Noire snuck into the main room. Sitting in a bright light was a vial that was black as night.
"This is... Strange. I never seen anything like this," Bête Noire thought to herself.
"I'm afraid I'm gonna have to stop you right there," s scientist, who possessed a gun, noted.
"Or what?" Bête asked.
"I'll make a compromise with you. You get out, I'll spare your life, if you don't, I'll kill, take the 2.5 million dollar bounty myself," the scientist asked.
"Hehehehe. You think I'll concede that easily? HAH! You're more foolish than you realize," Bête Noire noted before killing the scientist, which activated the alarm. Out of desperation, she grabbed the black vial and tossed it to Akumu to keep a hold of it. Many security guards began to block her path. Security guards began to fire at her. Bête Noire used a spell that made the bullets turn on the guards, which resulted in killing them. Bête ran out of the lab and ran quickly out of sight, mostly to an abandoned house outside the mountain, which use to be the home of Asgore Dreemurr until he remarried Toriel, thanks to heavy requests from Asriel.

The next morning came around and the police began an investigation at the science laboratory.
"How do you wanna bet a shootout happened here?" an officer asked.
"I doubt a shootout happened. This scientist has lost his SOUL, while all these guards still have them. My suspicion is that someone broke in," another officer noted, noting the broken lock at the back door.
"The door is busted, but I did come across a mysterious pink goop. But when I got a closer look, it disappeared," the detective asked.
"Pink... Oh fuck. It was her! She must've stolen something also," an officer noted.
"What makes you think that?" the detective asked.
There was something up there, when I checked the footage, it was taken by her. I was unknown where she fled," the officer answered.
"Oh, gosh. It makes me think she grabbed a dangerous that can make her more powerful. She has to be stopped, and quick," the detective added.
"There's nothing that can be done to stop her! She's already very powerful, why do you think her bounty is $2.5 million? Better yet, why is government allowing her to get executed once someone sees her?" the officer explained. The detective soon realized the grim outcome. With the vial of HATE Bête stole, she could've likely used it already, making her extremely powerful, but Bête Noire has yet to use the vial.
It'll take someone with absurd amounts of Determination and LOVE to defeat Bête Noire.

Back at home, the news of the lab attack was rampant. Develyn has had enough. He saved the world from fire and brimstone three years ago, he's probably gonna do it again. He has Determination to a small extent, he has a ton of Vengeance, which makes his magic powerful, plus his Purity further enhances.
"Alright... I've had enough. I'm gonna take care of this. This has gone too far," Develyn mumbled.
Develyn was soon sitting outside when Asriel came outside to spend some time with him. Develyn was looking down the horizon.
"You have a cross look on your face. What's going on?" Asriel asked.
"It's Bête. She's caused too much damage already. I think it's time for her to feel the wrath the of the Vindicator of Justice," Develyn answered.
"But you don't realize how powerful she is, right?" Asriel asked.
"Her thinking my magic is weak is wishful thinking for her. You saw me defeat Chara and Flowey three years ago! What makes you think I can't defeat her?" Develyn answered.
"I believe you can defeat her, Dev. But I don't think it'll come without nearly dying first," Asriel added.
"So you believe in me? Of course you do. Me dying though, I don't think it's gonna happen," Develyn added. Develyn soon walked inside and began to walk to Timberfield Park, he let Toriel and Asgore know he was gonna be at the park, and that he was gonna be careful.
The government took note of the lab attack. They raised Bête's bounty to three million dollars. It might be time for someone to receive the three million dollar reward.
