Chapter 31: The Dangerous Trio

Develyn used his telekinesis to separate the figure from the trio. Andy had just finished healing Asriel and Asriel soon stood up.

"Well guys. I guess it's time to take someone down," Develyn noted.

"United," Asriel noted.

The gaunt figure looked at the three boys, weapons armed. The figure unleashed a large purple claw, which could take the boys out in one go. Develyn held up his shield, which absorbed the attack.

"Attacking us is the last mistake you'll ever make!" Develyn shouted. Asriel began to duel-wield his swords. Andy begun to use a couple of his spells. The figure had to take out Develyn first, as he was the strongest of the trio.

Develyn has been trained by Undyne, and knows how to fight back.

"FUS!" Develyn shouted, staggering the figure. The figure then used a whip-like attack, which Asriel deflected.

The creature began to summon dark platforms, which headed toward Asirel and Develyn.

"CONFRINGO!" Andy shouted, blasting the platforms apart. Develyn unleashed his Battle Cry, making his, Asriel's, and Andy's attacks stronger. A large orb that represented a bullet charged at Develyn, but he immeidately deflected the attack, withstanding the explosion. Develyn soon struck some blows on his own.

Andy soon saw something of his own, the vessel's SOUL.

"If I can target the killing curse there, then it'll all be over. I have to wait. I don't want to strike Develyn or Asriel with the spell and have them killed," Andy said to himself. "SECTUMSEMPRA!"

The sword-like spell cut the arm off the figure, before it regrew and unfurled a large red sword. Develyn and Asriel deflected the attack.

"FUS RO!" Develyn shouted. The figure was staggered even more and was flown back a few meters.

"BOMBARDA MAXIMA!" Andy shouted, blasting the ground in front of the figure. The figure was flung upward before Develyn's telekinesis brought the figure down violently. Develyn's eye flickered red briefly. A warning that he is about to use Chara's famed attack, the Crimson Blade. The creature was confused by the red flash, until an etheral motion charged at them. Develyn used his telekinesis to separate Asriel, taking the fight between him and the figure. 

Develyn and the figure fought. The figure laid some critical blows on Develyn, which activated his most dangerous attack ever: Zenith. Develyn did an erratic series of attacks that were quickly paced. This overwhelmed the figure. After the attack, Develyn had one more finisher up his sleeve.

"GAAN! LAH HAAS!" Develyn shouted. The figure was critically weakened himself. Any attack that was due to ensue would be fatal. But the fatal hit wouldn't come Develyn, nor would it come from Asriel.

The figure had one last chance. Andy separated Develyn from the figure with his own telekinesis.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Andy shouted. The creature turned over and saw a green light strike them. The creature stumbled over, before their body would disintegrate. Develyn saw the creature disintegrate. The pink sky turned into a sunset sky.

"Is it dead?" Asriel asked.

"I believe so," Develyn answered.

Andy walked over to the boys. "Well... I guess this is over," he said.

"I can't fathom why she chose to do this. Wishful thinking for her," Develyn noted.

"What matters is that she's gone, and the world is saved," Andy noted. A glow soon emitted where the figure was last standing, it was Bête's SOUL. Develyn stuck out his crystal, and the SOUL flew into it.

"So... It is truly game over," Develyn noted.

"What is that? That you're holding now?" Andy asked.

"The Black SOUL Gem. The most powerful SOUL Gem ever created. It has the capabilities to encase a human SOUL inside of it," Develyn answered. Develyn showed the gem to Andy. The gem had two orbs of light encased inside, dancing around. A red colored orb for Chara, and a newly added pink colored orb for Bête. "Well, let's go home."

The trio soon headed home in time for bed. The news soon confirmed Bête Noire's death, and Andy was the recipient of the bounty. He put the funds towards the charity. Before the newly formed dangerous trio could end the day, they spent some outside.

"So... What do you think is next?" Andy asked.

"There isn't much to think about, other changing your surname from Shields to Dreemurr," Asriel answered.

"Well, I know school next year will be tough for all of us. Everyone will be recovering after Frisk's death," Develyn noted. "As for a threat... I'm not sure. This was the most powerful vessel we've had to deal with."

"Well, let's realize that peace is restored. And if anyone wants to mess with the world again, they have to answer to The Dangerous Trio," Asriel noted.

"Dangerous Trio... I like that. Three of the most dangerous beings to step foot on Nirn, changing the world," Develyn noted.

"Changing? More like saving!" Andy shouted.

"Well, it's best if we head up," Asriel noted. The trio soon went up to their room and crashed for the night.
