A week has passed since Andy randomly appeared into the Dreemurr family. He started to explain more about himself, and Frisk. Andy was quickly accepted as a member of the family.

Today was a bit different. Asgore decided to hold a picnic near Montrose at one of the campsites in between the two cities. Toriel was very worried about Asgore's random plan, as the killer is still on the loose. More information started to leak about the killer as well, like how she's under 18, which is rare for a serial killer to be a minor.

"Are you want to do this, Asgore? With a serial killer on the loose?!" Toriel asked.

"Relax Tori. I don't think the killer will step past her known boundaries anyway. Most killers only stay in the area they know," Asgore answered.

"Key word: most," Develyn mumbled, believing the killer might step past her own boundaries.

"What was that, Dev?" Asriel asked.

"Nothing," Develyn answered.

A couple hours later, the family left the house. Develyn started to have a gut feeling that this picnic isn't gonna go well.

"Hey, you alright, Develyn?" Andy asked.

"I don't know. I just have a feeling this isn't gonna go well. With this serial killer on the loose, I think this might end badly," Develyn answered.

"Aren't you the most powerful being to step foot on Nirn in hundreds of years?" Andy asked.

"I am, but with how powerful this killer is, I don't think I can take it down without me nearly dying in the process. I think it'll take someone else. Yes, I am extremely powerful, but I don't think I can do it," Develyn answered.

"Hmm," Andy added.

The family arrived at the picnic site. Most of the food was simple salads and fruits. The other stuff was gonna be grilled by Asgore. Develyn was on the defensive, going as far as telling Dark and Dawn to not wander far from the camp, which prompted a scold from Toriel.

While the food was getting grilled, as Toriel kept an eye on it, Asgore and the kids decided to play a game of 500. This game involves a football being thrown toward a swarm of people, with each throw counting in between 100-300 points. The first person to reach 500 points wins. It can get insanely competitive at times, which is why the twins opted out of playing.

The game was already tense from the beginning. Develyn notched the first couple of balls, giving him 300 points total. Asriel soon nabbed one of his own, while Frisk was the most recent person to catch the ball, worth 300 points. Develyn and Frisk are tied with 300 points, Asriel is behind with 100 points.

Suddenly, Develyn started getting a massive headache, so play had to end, with Develyn and Frisk tying with 300 points a piece. Eventually, a young girl who looked to be the same age as the children was spotted.

"Oh crap... It's her," Andy whispered.

"What do you mean?" Asgore asked?

"That's the killer!" Andy shouted.

"You sure? That looks like some innocent girl who's lost," Asgore added.

"I don't want to bother helping. If Andy is right, I gotta believe it," Develyn noted, with his head throbbing in pain.

The killer soon spotted the Dreemurrs themselves.

"Crap, she sees us," Andy noted. Asgore tried to get closer, but Develyn used his telekinesis to restrain him.

"Don't even bother getting closer, Asgore!" Develyn shouted.

The girl looked to be about 13 years old, and she had a little pet that floated in the air that stuck by her side. Pink was her dominant color; pink clothing, pink hair, everything is pink on her. She summoned a pink stick that held bioluminescent properties. It was also deadly sharp, and can penetrate through the body similar to a bullet from a gun

Develyn saw as an opportunity to get the family to safety. The moment she was ready to throw the stick. Develyn used a flurry of telekinetic shouts to get the family together in one unit, then he used his silent teleportation shout to disappear. The stick went on to hit a tree.

"Drat... That didn't work. I guess I'll have a better shot next time," the girl noted.

The Dreemurr family was back at the house and no one was hurt. Develyn soon went downstairs to spend some time alone.

"What just happened?" Toriel asked, completely confused. The entire family was at the picnic at one moment, only to be at the house for another.

"I don't know. I think Dev's flight or fight instinct kicked. And in this case, he chose flight," Asgore added.

"Weird. He would always fight," Toriel stated.

Toriel soon threw something quick for the kids to eat for a substitute dinner. Develyn was feeling normal when it was ready.

Later that night, when the children were winding down for bed, Develyn got some things out of the way.

"Sorry if I acted like that a several hours ago. I had a feeling if I didn't do anything, someone was gonna die. Andy, Frisk, since you two are related I didn't want you guys to lose a family member, especially if it's the last one. As for the other's, this is the family that I've been a part of for a several years, I don't want to lose that," Develyn explained.

"I get that, Dev, but you had mom confused," Asriel added.

"My head still aches, Az. If my instincts didn't kick in, someone would've died!" Develyn shouted.

Develyn took a few deep breaths to calm himself down.

"You know what? Let's see Gaster tomorrow. Let's see if he has an explanation for what's going on. Surely with the killer gaining massive attention, thanks to the media, he might've done some research about it," Asriel explained.

"Yes. We should do that tomorrow morning. I'll teleport you guys to the lab. It's too dangerous for us to be out there, especially with our magic being extraordinarily strong. That person is too powerful, I think it might take someone special, to do it," Develyn explained.

The four kids soon got tired after a hectic day, where Develyn spared a ton of lives, including his own. Tomorrow, they can figure out how to dispose of the killer.
