Develyn just finished taking down one of Bête Noire's minions. It seemed to be clear in his sector.

"Is everyone alright?!" he called.

"I think so," one human answered, feeling normal after the fight.

"HELP! SOMEBODY!" a scream answered.

Develyn rushed over to the scene. A Monster was critically injured and was unconscious due to undergoing shock. Develyn did an immediate pulse check. He knew what a dead Monster would like from looking at it's pile of dust alone. He's never seen a Monster die before, and he's willing to prevent that from happening.

The first sign of death is a cessatation of all vital organs. This happens before the Monster disintegrates. Develyn felt slow beating.

"Rok nahlaas," Develyn mumbled in his draconic tongue.

"What does that mean?" the person responded.

"He's alive. Get him to a hospital, stat! It'll be moments before he dies!" Develyn answered. Just then, the sky turned pink.

"What the hell?" a person asked.

Develyn got back into a fighting stance. He knew the eerie shade of pink was a bad sign.

"Divines? What's going on?" Develyn asked.

"Something wicked this way comes. Group up with Andy once you find him," Akatosh answered.

"Is he in trouble?" Develyn asked, as he saw a figure get reanimated.

"Deep trouble," Akatosh answered. The figure was about to attack Develyn, but Develyn deflected the attack.

"I want everyone to run!" Develyn shouted.

"But will you be OK?" the guy answered.

"Heh... I'll be fine. Just go," Develyn answered, using his telekinetic shockwave. "LAAS! YAH NIR!" Develyn shouted, wanting Andy's location. He soon saw two figures moving away from the arena. Develyn stood his ground. He took down the reanimated figure with his Drain Vitality shout. He was then surrounded by them.

"I guess you chose the most powerful vessel on Nirn to pick a fight with. I guess there is nothing I can do, but withstand the storm you guys have put me in," Develyn added. "RAAN! MIR TAH!"

Animals aligned to Develyn's control begun to show up to reinforce Develyn. The animals were mostly predators, as Develyn was dealing with dangerous creatures. Develyn's battle form was back in control. He first grabbed a set of cultists and pinned them to one location. This location behaved like a vortex, dragging anyone in toward it's center who dared to get close. His sword began to revolve around his arm, which multiplied sixfold. Develyn hurled the swords toward the creatures, each strike killing them. Animals started to take down the reanimated figures. Develyn soon called them back to their homes, as there weren't very many left. Develyn soon finished the last two off, by stabbing one with his blade, before proceeding to dig it into the other.

Develyn saw that Andy was getting closer. The other figure was still hot on his trail.

"Wait for Asriel," Frisk noted to Develyn.

"He's injured. Are you sure?!" Develyn answered.

"Yes. Flee with him," Frisk answered.

"RUN!" Andy shouted.

Develyn had no choice, but to run.

"Look out!" Develyn shouted, noting the black mulch. Andy had no choice to cast Fiendfyre. The streets began to fill with fire. The eagle was present again, which charged after the black mulch. Develyn and Andy teleported out of the way. The flames kept on mutating, changing to different dangerous animals. First was the eagle, then a falcon, then a dragon.

"We gotta get back to the arena!" Develyn answered.

"Why?!" Andy answered.

"There is a ton of space. I think we need Az as well to finish this monstrosity off!" Develyn answered.

Develyn and Andy teleported to the arena. They were tired of running.

"So, what are we gonna do? Asriel is injured, so I doubt he'll fight," Develyn noted.

"I guess you shouldn't underestimate a simple hindrance," a voice bellowed.

"Az?!" Develyn yelled.

"Why are you here instead of home?" Andy answered.

"Frisk guided me here. She said to go to the arena, wait for the boys if they aren't already there. I guess I didn't have to wait," Asriel noted. "So... Is she gone?"

"I don't think so," Andy noted.

"What do you mean?" Asriel asked.

"The HATE within her began to overtake her corpse, and now she's this gaunt figure," Andy answered.

"What do you mean?" Asriel noted. The figure came back into the arena. "Eugh! What is that thing?"

"AZ!" Develyn shouted, as the figure charged after him. Develyn tackled Asriel. They both came out unscathed.

"Petrificus Totalus!" Andy shouted, petrifying the figure briefly before running to them.

"Heal him. I must have him intact. That scratch is gonna be a handful. Develyn soon up and looked up at the figure. "So... You wish to end the world? It'll take more than a simple possession of a dead figure. It's gonna take way more. If you want to erase this world, you have to slay me and my brothers in battle. And we won't go down easy!"
