Asriel was walking around the park near Ebott School, trying to find some more wounded people. He encountered a bunch of Bête's minions, killing all of them in his path. The park was completely forsaken. There was no life around, apart from a homicidal flower that Asriel took the form of a several years ago.

Flowey appeared out of the ground in front of Asriel.

"Howdy," Flowey answered.

"So... Looks like the past is here to haunt me again," Asriel noted.

"Ironic. How could you hate me, but remember me at the same time?" Flowey asked.

"Are you stupid? It's called a "memory". I remembered by past as you! I hated every bit of it. I demanded to be freed, and I got my wish. And I swore I saw you get burned to ash by Develyn!" Asriel exclaimed.

"Oh... Aren't you an idiot?! I always come back, and I come back with a purpose. And that purpose is to exterminate you!" Flowey exclaimed, with his demonic voice returning.

"I guess if being burned to ash wasn't enough, I guess I'll put you down myself. After all, you're a pathetic weed that was a figment of my imagination. You did many harmful things, including framing my father for first-degree murder six times! You never took accountability for your own actions, and never showed remorse for what you did!

"No, you were a masochist, Flowey. You enjoyed the pain and suffering of others for your own benefit! I was given another chance at life becuase the Nine Divines saw something in me  everyone else couldn't. I've yet to find what to find the Divines are looking for in me!" Asriel explained.

"Hehehehe. You wish you can get a rid of me. I guess I should my point VERY clear," Flowey noted. Darkness settled around Asriel he knew what was coming. Flashing red lights came around. Asriel summoned his Chaos Sabers, cause he knew he was ready.

Flowey did his evil demonic laugh, and the fight began. Little did Flowey know, Asriel was trained by both Undyne and Develyn, so he's ready as always. Asriel's agility overwhelmed Flowey to where he dodged everything before the SOUL of Patience was freed.

The knives didn't even cut Asriel, as he found his way for the battle to continue.

"How are you still alive after that?!" Flowey asked.

"Simple, training, and I know how you work!" Asriel added.

Flowey tried changing his attacks up a little bit, but that didn't work against Asriel. Bravery begged to be freed.

The boxing match was swept by Asriel, winning in a dominant fashion. The SOUL of Bravery was soon freed a bit afterward.

Flowey was confused as to why Asriel was doing so well. Asriel got as far as laying a few blows on Flowey before the SOUL of Integrity demanded to be freed.

It was a dance off of gargantuan proportions, but Asriel emerged victorious, freeing the SOUL of Integrity.

Perservernace was up next, and Asriel won the Ten Words of Wisdom tournament, freeing them.

Kindness was next, but Asriel's kindess was far more superior than the person fighting him, despite them also being an amateur chef. Kindess was soon freed.

The last part of the fight came against Justice. The person was an expert marksman. Despite, this, the marksman wouldn't even handle Asriel's agility. The marksman called it quits, freeing them.

Asriel soon felt something resonate within him. The original six humans Flowey killed were finally freed.

"Will you help me?" Asriel asked.

All the humans nodded their heads, giving Asriel exponential power to defeat Flowey. Asriel landed blow after blow on Flowey. Once Flowey's health was nullified, the Humans soon drained the power he once had.

Asriel soon look down at the flower. Flowey appeared to have wilted, but he still teems with life.

"I-I don't get it. I thought you wouldn't know me at all, I thought you would fall," Flowey noted.

"That's what you thought. You fail to realize I was your past, and I'm your future. The Divines see something in me, that's why they gave me a second chance. A chance filled with new oppotunity. Not to mention, I was trained by both a leader of the Royal Guard, and a person that is my adopted sibling. That is a reason why this fight was nothing to me.

"I was ready! I knew what you were gonna provide. Because I WAS you at one point in life!" Asriel explained.

"I fail to see that," Flowey answered.

"Yes you did. But you masked my presence. Your masochistic ways took over my mind, killing everyone I loved and manipulating the darn timeline for your own benefit. It was an endless cycle that I got sick of. Now, I finally have the chance to get rid of you!" Asriel exclaimed.

"You don't see the point, Asriel... I'm a part of you," Flowey noted.

Asriel sighed. "You're right... You're a part of me," Asriel noted before unleashing a fireball. "A PART OF ME THAT I DON'T NEED ANYMORE!" Asriel threw the fireball at Flowey, Flowey didn't dodge, embracing his fate. Flowey soon burned to ash, and the wind took care of the rest.

Asriel soon left the park and went back home. He knew forgetting about Flowey was something crucial. But memories always stick. He still remembers the time he was a homicidal flower. But since he's gone forever, with the wind dispersing the ash far and wide, Asriel wouldn't have to worry about him again.

Asriel entered the house and sat down on the couch with an obvious thump.

"Oh, I'm glad you're OK. Where's Develyn?" Toriel asked.

"We got split up. I think he's downtown still. I hope he's OK," Asriel answered.

"I hope so, too," Asriel added.

Asriel soon got tired and he decided to take a nap. He soon got in bed and took a long nap.
