Chapter 20: The Attack

"Hey... Any idea why you're acting so weird right now?" Asriel asked to Develyn.

"It's Bête. She's gonna do a large scale attack that's gonna cover the entire city. She also brought back two people back from the dead; Chara and Flowey. We need to defeat them again in order for the city to be saved," Develyn answered.

"Wait... I thought they were dead," Asriel added.

"That's what I thought also. But apparently, Bête brought them back," Develyn added.

"This is getting out of hand. If only she died at your hands, this wouldn't have been an issue," Asriel added.

"I wish, but it'll come down to Andy and Frisk defeating her, then so be it," Develyn added.

"Yeah... I guess it's how it is," Asirel added.

"Hey... I'm going to the store. Do you guys need anything?" Toriel asked.

"No... I'm good. Be careful out there," Develyn answered.

"Can you buy me a water bottle? My old one got warped in the dishwasher," Asriel added.

"Oh dear. I'll get you one of the metallic ones, so that way it won't happen again," Toriel answered.

The four kids were hanging around in the living room, while Asgore was off in his greenhouse, which was recently built. He was busy tending to his plants, as he has a plant show coming this fall, and the winner would win a couple thousand dollars.

The kids were hanging around until the sirens started to blare, which shocked everyone in the house.

"THIS IS AN ATTACK WARNING! AN ATTACK WARNING MEANS THAT AN ATTACK AMONG THE CITY IS UNDERGOING! ALL CITIZENS SHOULD BE SHELTERED IMMEDIATELY!" the emergency broadcast noted.

"Crap... Toriel is at the store with the twins still!" Develyn shouted.

"We gotta go rescue them, and quick!" Andy added.

"Alright, let's go!" Develyn shouted. The kids ran to the garage, which has their bikes. Andy recently got a bike for himself, so they all hopped on and went to the Walmart Supercenter where Toriel was shopping. The weather was already gloomy, as opposed to bright sunny skies that were present earlier.

The squad reached downtown when trouble started to arise.

Bête Noire had resurrecte multiple people and caused them to fight the innocent citizens.

"Let's go," Develyn noted. The four kids got off their bikes and went to save their lives. Andy used an explosive spell, known as Confringo, to blast one minion apart. Frisk started tackling some the minions to immobilize them. Asriel fought with tooth and nail to take them out, albeit getting a few scratches in the process. He then saw his own breath, which means one thing... Dementors.

"Oh crap... I gotta hide again," Asriel noted. Asriel has already been demented once by the dementor, which left him revisiting his life as a flower. Asriel soon hid in an alleyway.

Develyn soon finished another minion off when he saw a swarm of whispy things approach the city.

"By the Nine Divines..." Develyn whispered. He got up and found a hiding spot behind a dumpster in an alleyway.

Andy soon saw the swarm of the dementors. They soon started terrorzing the citizens. Andy cleared his mind and found his most happiest memory out there.

"EXPECTO PATRONUM!!!!" Andy yelled. A white wolf came out of his wand and began to pulsate bright beams of light, which brought back the dementors with each passing wave. People were shocked to see the dementors begin to get curbed. The dementors soon fled, claiming zero lives. Andy soon stopped casting the spell.

Bête Noire, Chara, and Flowey were on top of a city building when she saw the dementors get scurried away by the Patronus charm.

"Damn it... That was the only way the attack woud work! The minions were suppose to serve as a distraction for them, and that didn't work!" Bête Noire noted.

"Should we step in?" Chara asked.

"I guess so. Go after the targets you assigned yourself, then we can continue. I have another weapon underneath the ground," Bête Noire answered.

Chara and Flowey soon left the scene, while Bête soon hopped down and went back to the abandoned shack.

Asriel soon found Develyn, at the alleyway.

"Hey, you good?" Asriel asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Where did Frisk and Andy go?" Develyn asked.

"You were the one who told us to stick together," Asriel noted.

"Yeah, but we got split up when minions started terrorizing the citizens, and the dementors straight afterward. Let's go find them," Develyn added. Develyn and Asriel soon went to find the siblings. They soon found them while traffic spiked downtown unexpectedly because of people getting home.

The only thing left on their minds was finding Toriel. Andy and Frisk soon decided to find them, splitting the squad once more. Develyn and Asriel soon split up by themselves to find wounded citizens.

Andy and Frisk were soon at the Walmart Supercenter to find Toriel. The Walmart was in complete lockdown. They slowly entered and started to find Toriel. They found her in the grocery section, looking at the frozen foods.

"Why are you guys here?" Toriel asked.

"We were called to action cause you were in trouble," Frisk answered.

"Thank you my children. Where are Develyn and Asriel?" Toriel added.

"They're wandering downtown, looking for wounded citizens," Andy answered.

"Oh boy, I hope they're OK," Toriel noted.

"Come on, let's go back home," Andy added.

The small squadron disapparated back home where Asgore was still in his greenhouse. The groceries were taken with them, as well as the shopping cart. Toriel proceeded to put the groceries away, while she put the shopping cart in the garage.

The rest of the family is hoping Develyn and Asriel are safe, as their lives are at stake.
