Chapter 29: Eradication

Bête Noire walked into the arena. Andy was standing there with his back turned, waiting for her.

"So, you're still alive, huh?" Bête Noire asked.

"I am. But you won't be for long," Andy answered.

"You said that last time, and I absolutely dominated you in the fight. Honestly. When are you gonna perish and join your family in hell?" Bête Noire asked.

"I'll never join them. If my purpose is to battle adversity, then so be it. You killed my entire family, but you fail to realize that I have an ancestry of some the most powerful Spanish wizards out there.

"Here's the kicker. I know who you truly are. You're Amber Lightvale, the person who was murdered by her older sister all those years ago!" Andy exclaimed.

"I know who Amber is, but I don't recall being that person," Bête Noire noted.

"That's because you were reincarnated," Andy noted.

"Hmm. I guess it should go without saying, you know my past well, but I don't want to plunge deeper into it much longer," Bête Noire noted.

"You won't be alive for much longer," Andy noted.

The second battle between them soon began. Andy soon started with the Protection Charm to deflect some of the hits.

"CRUCIO!" Andy yelled. Bête Noire might be tough, but she experienced a ton of pain with the spell. Bête Noire unleashed some dementors, which Andy warded off. People from the arean were watching the fight, it almost felt like they traveled back in time.

Andy got hit here and there, but he was able to maintain his form.

"SECTUMSEMPRA!" Andy shouted. The spell behaved like a sword, giving Bête Noire some serious gashes.

More curses and hexes were used upon Bête Noire. Some hit the people in the stands. Medical officials turned up to tend to the wounded people. They were soon told to evacuate the arena, as a largescale battle was unfolding.

Bête Noire summoned some pink creatures, which distracted Andy. There were so many, it was time unleash the beast.

The flaming eagle was present again, but it turned on Andy because it was under Bête's control.

"GLACIO TRIA!" Andy shouted, which caused the eagle to go away. The entire scenery began to heat up until it burst into flames. Andy controled the flames like a lasso, which got rid of the pink creatures. He soon flung the lasso toward Bête Noire, flinging her and dealing some serious damage.

"OK. That's it!" Bête Noire shouted. Bête Noire tried to use one of her attacks to harvest Andy's SOUL, but Andy used the killer curse to couteract the spell. This effect went on for a few minutes. During that process, spectral ghosts would appear. All of whom were a part of Andy's family.

"Andy..." a deep voice bellowed.

"Dad?!" Andy answered. 

"Focus and concentrate. You're nearly there. It won't be long until she runs out of magic. Once that's been achieved, use a flurry of them," Andy's father explained.

"Andy, my son. You are taking such bravery into account. This is why you're DETERMINED. Finish the job to save the world," Andy's mother explained.

"Andy, please. There is one thing left for you to do. You have to do it. You have something within you that can cause dangerous effects," Frisk explained. Andy didn't know about an ability that he had.

"Now is your chance, kiddo. Strike now!" Andy's father exclaimed. Andy jolted his wand left, which flung Bête Noire to the left. Many Pink Creatures were summoned and after Andy. The ability, known as Determination Spark, soon kicked in.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Andy shouted. The killing curse killed each othe Pink Creatures in a chain lightning effect. Andy soon did another spell, which silenced Bête Noire. Bête didn't have enough magic to counteract the spell. "I guess your spree is at an end." Andy soon petrified Bête Noire before lifting her up. He then bounded her with ropes. Bête Noire soon had enough to cast a spell, but it was no. Andy flung Bête Noire down in a violent manner. Andy summoned the flaming eagle again, which charged after her. 

The eagle behaved like any normal eagle would. The eagle picked her up and flew her around the perimeter of the arena before dropping her. 

Bête was incredibly weak. She was about to get up, but Andy did it one last time. "AVADA KEDAVRA!!!" Andy noted. Bête Noire saw the blinding green light heading toward her very quick. It was the last thing she saw in her life. Bête Noire was killed, but something was awfully awry.

"Keep your guard up," Frisk said inside Andy's head.

"Why?" Andy asked.

"A storm is about to unleash. Use a flurry of protection charms until the others come," Frisk answered. "Don't try to fight it! It'll kill you fast."

"Why? I have your trait," Andy noted.

"True, you have Determination, but this is not enough," Frisk noted. A strange black substance started to embrace around Bête Noire, within seconds, it engulfed her entirely. The sky turned into an eerie shade of pink. "NOW!!" Frisk shouted. The gaunt black figure used a dangerous attack on Andy. Andy had nothing to do but dodge.

"Crap... I wonder what she meant by reinforcements," Andy noted. "Should I keep my ground?"

"No... Flee if you have to," Frisk answered. Fleeing was Andy's last motive, he stood his ground as well as possible. He tried to use the killing curse, but the figure blocked it, as if it was a part of nature.

"I'm in trouble. Where are Dev and Az?" Andy asked to himself.

Andy had no choice, but to run.
