In your hands was a broken figurine, bent and in several large pieces, edges dripping with glue. You glanced up at the tall dark haired man in front of you, scared of what he might do or say.

He stood rigid, half angry half shocked. He found it hard to believe that you were the one who did it but you were the only one there other than him. And he knew for sure that he wasn't the one who broke it.

"Hyuga" you choked out. "I-I can explain!"

"There's nothing to explain..." he answered, his head hung and voice coming out strained. "You broke it, period."

"Hyuga-"

"No excuses! It's broken and now you owe me..."

"Owe you?" you gulped.

You sighed as you polished one figurine after another.

"Treat them with care" Hyuga advised, leaning over your shoulder, his warm breath on your neck.

You shivered, nodding slightly as you tried your best to focus on the figure and not on Hyuga being dangerously close to you.

"Make sure you don't miss any" Hyuga said to you as he made his way over to the door. "I'll be back in a little while..."

Pursing your lips, you thought about how you shouldn't be getting in trouble with Hyuga. After all, you weren't the one who broke it. Koganei did. The only thing you did was try to help him put it back together.

Koganei stared down at the broken figurine before looking up at you.

"Dammit! (F/n)! Quick, help me put this back together before Hyuga gets here!" he pleaded, scrambling to retrieve the broken pieces from the floor.

You ran to a desk, pulling out a drawer and grabbing a bottle half full of glue.

"Hurry! Bring the glue over here!"

You dropped down to your knees in front of Koganei, twisting the top on the glue. The bottle was passed back and forth between you two; one coating the edges of a piece with glue and then handing the bottle to the other.

Koganei's hands fumbled as he stuck each piece together, sweat lightly dotting his forehead.

You both froze when you heard the hallway door open and footsteps approaching the room.

Koganei jumped, causing the pieces to fall apart again. You groaned inwardly, picking up the few pieces that he dropped.

Koganei stood up quickly as the footsteps grew louder.

"Woah, look at the time! It seems as though I'm late for basketball practice!"
