Remembering Sunday- All Time Low ft. Juliet Simms

Alex Gaskarth:
He woke up from dreaming and put on his shoes
Started making his way past two in the morning.
He hasn't been sober for days.

Yukio Kasamatsu woke up, rubbing his throbbing temple as he turned his head to the window. Slowly swinging his legs over the side of the bed, he stood up and stumbled, running into the nightstand. Grimacing, he rubbed his sore hip and made his way to the window, throwing back the curtains to find that it was still quite early in the morning.

The stars shone bright above the dim street lamps that flickered ever so slightly. The moon's face was waxy with the coloration of milk not yet processed, its light and dark spots marbling within each other to create a beautiful center piece to the midnight blue backdrop.

Kasamatsu turned to the nightstand, his eyes barely able to make out the time displayed on the glowing alarm clock. He couldn't quite figure out where he was and why this place seemed just vaguely familiar. Closing his stinging eyes, he thought back on the past few days.

Leaning now into the breeze
Remembering Sunday, he falls to his knees.
They had breakfast together
But two eggs don't last
Like the feeling of what he needs.

Shifting through the hazy memories, a face stands out in his mind. Her silky (h/c) hair, sparkling (e/c) eyes that kept him locked in place as if in a welcomed trance.

Burying his face in his hands, he dropped to the floor on his knees, remembering how they had had breakfast together. How he was too nervous to eat and shaking too much to do anything but stare at her gorgeous face. He remembered her laugh, ringing in clear through the ruckus his migraine had started to make.

He remembered his thoughts, how he marveled at her ingenious actions that caused him to fall for her but... Where was she now?

Now this place seems familiar to him.
She pulled on his hand with a devilish grin.
She led him upstairs, she lead him upstairs
Left him dying to get in.

The feeling of your soft, warm hand slipping into his. Unforgettable. He looked up, seeing the devious grin you sported as you gently tugged him away from the crowd and toward the stairs. He was a shaking mess, knowing what to expect next but not quite sure if he really wanted to go that far. He liked you and didn't want to do anything to hurt you. But he also didn't want to disappoint.

Stopping at the foot of the stairs, you kissed his neck, searching hungrily for the one spot that would set him off. His trembling hands ran up your waist, grazing your sides before you slapped his hands away, earning a startled look from Kasamatsu. After giving him a wink, he realized you were messing with him. You were teasing by letting him think that he'd been given the right to touch you. But not yet...

Forgive me, I'm trying to find
My calling, I'm calling at night
I don't mean to be a bother but have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy it seems, I'm going to ask her to marry me.

Kasamatsu grabbed his jacket and ran out the door, knocking on the one next door. After several minutes of standing uncomfortably in front of the white metal door, a middle aged man opened it and stuck his head out.

His dazed green eyes gave way to confusion as he looked Kasamatsu up and down, waiting for the explanation as to why he was opening the door up to him at such a late hour.

"I'm sorry, but I was wondering if you've seen this girl-"

"I've seen several girls. It'd help if you were a bit more specific..." the man griped.
