"Come on Shintaro!" you urged, pulling on the green haired male's hand. He simply pushed up his glasses and followed rather reluctantly.
"Would you stop pulling me, (F/n)?" he asked, his voice sounding huffier than usual.
"Over here!" you told him as you stopped in front of a jewelry store. Pressing your nose to the glass, you smiled and pointed at a ring that instantly caught your eye.
"Ooh, look Shin!" you marveled, turning to him with a smile on your face.
You and Midorima have been in a committed relationship for about five years now. You didn't expect him to ever 'pop the question' but with this, you hoped he would get the hint and thus the encouragement he needed to ask you to marry him.
"Why would you want a ring?" he asked, not quite understanding what it was you were looking for. "It has almost no value whatsoever. It's just metal..."
You puffed your cheeks, absolutely frustrated by him trying his best to be difficult.
"It could be like my lucky item" you offered, to which he raised an eyebrow.
"How is this anything like a lucky item?" he questioned.
You smiled up at him warmly, taking his hand, "Because it will be there to remind me daily of the luck I have found... In you."
A light pink blush crawled up his cheeks and he looked toward the ground, pulling his hand away to push his glasses up the bridge of his nose. You laughed at his Tsundere side before standing on tiptoe to kiss his warm cheek.
He cleared his throat and spoke, refusing to look you in the eyes, "Fine... I'll think about it..."

Midorima fumbled with the ring box in his pocket, sitting on your couch as he waited for you to come home. His heart was racing at just the thought of proposing. What if you said no?He shook his head, scolding himself for the very idea. You had hinted, several times, that you wished to be married... Why would you tell him no after all that?
He jumped at the sound of the key in the lock and you turned it, letting yourself in. You gave him a puzzled look when your eyes met his and you closed the door, pressing your back against the painted wood and listening for the click of the handle.
"What's wrong, Shin?" you asked, walking toward the couch to sit beside him. He shot up from the soft upholstery, startling you.
"N-Nothing!" he stuttered, fingers grazing the velvet box still deep in his pocket. He pulled it out and hurriedly shoved it toward you. "F-For you... N-Nandayo..."
You stared down at the box blankly, gulping as you lifted the lid with trembling fingers. Inside was the exact same ring you had wanted; shiny and new.
"Shin..." you whispered, your heart pounding.
"Y-You don't have to take it... I-If you don't l-like it-"
"No!" you said, reaching for his hand. "I love it! I really do!"
His face grew a dark red and he mumbled something under his breath that you couldn't quite hear.
"What was that, Shin?" you asked, tilting your head slightly.
Midorima drew in a deep breath and released it; a rattling, shaky exhale, "I-I asked if y-you would marry me, (F-F/n)?"
Smiling warmly, you answered, "Of course, Shintaro!"

Your wedding day, such a marvelous celebration in honor of your union with Midorima and vice versa. Everyone had been invited, your family, his family and your extended list of friends. Frankly, the crowd made Midorima a bit nervous. Why did you have to insist on everyone coming to this one event?Calm down, he persuaded himself as he paced back and forth, five minutes before the start of the ceremony.
Later, standing at the front of the ceremony, all of his self doubt melted away as you glided effortlessly down the aisle. Your (e/c) eyes sparkled beneath your sheer white veil atop your perfectly styled hair. The white dress hugged your body in the most flattering of ways; as if the beautiful fabric was crafted for your use and your use alone. You looked absolutely stunning in Midorima's eyes, making his heart swell within his chest.
Giving him a meek smile under your veil, you stepped up and stood in front of your soon to be husband, admiring his striking black suit. He pushed up his glasses, fidgeting as the ceremony began.
After your vows, Midorima lifted your veil with rather shaky hands and leaned down, kissing your lips passionately.

Midorima came home from work to a dark house, empty and completely void of any and all noises that would suggest your presence.Cautiously, he closed the front door and walked into the living room, shoes clicking against the wood flooring.
"(F/n)? Are you home?" he called out without receiving an answer.
Walking into the kitchen and switching on the light switch, he discovered your body, limp and cold behind the kitchen island. He rushed to your side, stepping on glass that had been smashed from the sliding glass door adjacent to the stove. Lifting your body up from the pool of blood that had accumulated over the course of half an hour, he hugged your body close to him. With tears streaming down his cheeks, he pressed his middle and index finger to the skin below your jaw and held his breath, holding on to the smallest shred of hope he could possibly muster that you were still alive.
After several moments of dead silence, he closed his green eyes and rocked back and forth, holding you close to him. He could care less about his lab coat becoming stained with the red fluid that should have been coursing through your veins. It didn't matter that your blood was running thick and sticky across his palms, causing his hands and fingertips to adhere disturbingly to your pale skin. Nothing mattered anymore now that you were dead.
He grabbed your hand, entwining his fingers with your rather stiff ones. His eyes widened and the ring you cherished so much was not on your finger. Looking down, he realized; you were attacked and killed for, not only your most expensive appliances but for the ring as well.
The ring. What you had referred to as your lucky item from day one. Gone. Lost in the night without even the slimmest chance of ever appearing again in Midorima's lifetime... At least not to him.
Calling the police, he watched as you were carried away, inside a black bag on a stretcher. Tears filled his eyes but didn't fall because the police insisted on taking his statement. Saying a silent goodbye, he turned back on you and walked back to the house.

It's been two years since you're death and each day, Midorima has busied himself as to not think of you. To do such would result in him breaking down and crying, creating a very unstable working condition, not only for him but for the other doctors and nurses.Walking downtown after buying a lucky item, he passed by the very same jewelry shop from long ago. Glancing over, Midorima noticed a couple looking through the window. He smiled as the young woman tried on the very same ring you wore and turned to the man excitedly.
Maybe your memory wasn't all that bad ...
