Yawning, you climbed down the stairs with a binder in your hands. Another late night studying is what had caused you trouble throughout the day. All you looked forward to now was falling into the comfort of your soft, warm bed, find able to close your eyes and sleep in-
Your eyelids drooped ever so slightly and because of this and your fantasies of catching a little break, you bumped into someone in the hallway. Jolting awake as you dropped all your books, you scrambled to retrieve the items from the floor.
"S-Sorry! So sorry!" they stuttered, stooping down to assist you.
You glanced up and immediately recognized him to be Sakurai, a member of Tōō's basketball team. You admired this shy boy for his stunning three pointers but alas, he did even know who you were, or that you had been watching him for awhile.
"Oh, it's okay!" you reassured him with a warm smile. "It was my fault anyways. I wasn't paying attention..."
"I-I'm sorry you weren't paying attention!"
You furrowed your brow, trying to find some sense in what he had just said. Didn't you just say that it was your fault? Why did he feel the need to apologize for your mistake?
"No, it's okay. Really. No problem..."
You were trying to calm him down, believing he was starting to have a mini panic attack... Or maybe he was just always delusional to the point of blaming himself for everything...
So absorbed in the task of soothing the boy, you fumbled, grabbing what you assumed to be all of your belongings before you stood up in haste.
"Well, it was nice, uh, running into you... I guess... Bye Sakurai!"
You waved and turned on your heel, walking fast down the hallway away from the awkward situation.
Slightly confused, he waved his hand a bit slower than he normally would when sending someone off. Getting ready to leave the scene of the accident, Sakurai stepped off to the left, his foot sliding on the surface of the floor. His eyes drift down to spot a black folder, several pieces of paper sticking out from it. Curiosity winning him over, he bends down and picks up the forgotten object.
Upon opening it, he gasped, covering his mouth as his face grew a bright red.

"Oh, so you have a stalker... Is she cute?" Aomine asked Sakurai who was currently trembling in the change room by the gym."I-I don't know! I guess!" he answered, becoming flustered by Aomine's question as well as his indifference toward the situation.
"What size?"
"What?"
Aomine smirked, "I asked what size as in what size cup..."
Sakurai blushed madly, "I'm sorry! I don't know! I'm really, really sorry!"
"Aomine!" Wakamatsu yelled, opening the door to the changing room and peeking his head in. "Would you quit screwing off? We have practice!"
Aomine sighed, "I was just asking Sakurai about his stalker-"
"Stalker?" Wakamatsu interrupted, glancing over at Sakurai in shock. "You have a stalker?"
"I-I think so... Quite sorry, I really am-"
"How do you know she's stalking you?"
"She dropped a folder full of drawings and pictures of him" Aomine answered for Sakurai. "And even knew his name."
"Are you sure you don't know her? Could you possibly have some of the same classes?" Wakamatsu offered.
"I don't know-"
"You don't know a lot of things, do you?" Aomine questioned, causing the large eyed boy to squirm in discomfort.
"I'm sorry!" Sakurai bowed his head repeatedly.
"Either way, I'm pretty sure there's a logical explanation when it comes to this 'stalker' situation..." Wakamatsu thought out loud for a moment before turning sharply to the two boys. "Why are you both just standing there? Get moving! Practice isn't just a nice suggestion, you know!"

Sakurai entered the gym and when his eyes met yours, he cowered behind Aomine and Wakamatsu. The thought of having a stalker frightened him, maybe even more than the prospect of disappointing you. Was he supposed to gain the approval of his stalker? Was that how these things work?"I-I'm going back to the changing room. I can't practice today, sorry!"
He turned to leave but was pulled back by his shirt.
"You think you can just skip out on practice anytime you feel like it?" Wakamatsu growled.
Sakurai shook his head frantically, "No! Sorry but she's here! I'm sorry!" He raised a shaky hand to point you out up on the stands, gulping out of nervousness.
You raised an eyebrow, conscious of the fact that you were being stared at. You noted the fear in his eyes and wondered if he was okay. But then again, he almost always looked like he had just seen a ghost... And probably apologized for laying eyes on it.
"Good, maybe you'll resolve this right here and now so that we can move on and practice!" Wakamatsu told him, pushing Sakurai toward the bleachers.
He stumbled a bit before regaining his balance. He swallowed the lump in his throat and proceeded, stopping short when Imayoshi greeted you.
"(F/n), what a pleasure it is to see you here!" he shook your hand heartily, sharing your smile.
"S-Senpai?" Sakurai stuttered, staring at you both with wide eyes.
"Oh, Sakurai. This is (F/n), she's from the school newspaper club. She covers the sports section" Imayoshi explained.
"Yes, Sakurai and I have already met..."
It took Sakurai a moment to fully absorb Imayoshi's statement. Newspaper club? Sports section?
"Wait... So you take pictures for the sports section?" he questioned.
"Yes-"
"I'm sorry I assumed you were stalking me!" he bowed his head repeatedly.
"Stalking?" you asked, confused.
"You dropped your folder and I saw picture of me. I knew I shouldn't have looked, I'm sorry-"
He was interrupted by your laughter.
"Sakurai, I'm doing a spotlight on a member of our basketball team this month!"
Sakurai gaped, "A-And you picked me?"
You nodded solemnly before he hugged you.
"Thank you, (F/n)-chan! And sorry for everything!" he apologized again before running back to the court.
"Just keep up the great work on your threes!" you called after him.
Imayoshi watched you for a moment, "You really are stalking him, aren't you?"
"Yeah, I am" you answered, not once taking your eyes off Sakurai.
"Okay, just making sure I wasn't mistaken... But you're still including the basketball team in this months issue, right?"
