~ Speak when you are angry- and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret
- Laurence J. Peter

Aomine sighed, closing his eyes as he attempted to drown out your voice. He was exhausted from practice and didn't enjoy coming home to an argument.

"(Y/n)" he drawled, rubbing his forehead. "I'm not in the mood for this shit..."

"Well I'm not in the mood for this crap either!" you snapped back.

"Then why are you starting it? I just came home."

You glared at your boyfriend while he looked down upon you in annoyance.

"Is it a little too much to ask for you to spend some time with me? You come home and sleep!"

"Everyone needs sleep..."

"That's not my point... Point is, you never want to do anything with me. We were supposed to go out yesterday and you gave me a lame ass excuse!"

Aomine sighed, his head beginning to hurt.

"(Y/n)..." he warned, feeling frustrated.

"Don't (y/n) me! Do you not want to spend time with me or-?"

"No!" he yelled, cutting you off. "When you're acting like a bitch like this, I don't wanna spend time with you!"

He brushed past your shocked frame, heading into the living room as he continued his rant.

"I come home from practice and all you can seem to worry about is going out. We can't spend time here? Being in each other's presence isn't enough for you?"

You pursed your lips as Aomine turned to face you with an equally sour look.

"No" you answered. "Being in your presence is enough... Enough to make me puke."

You ran upstairs, slamming the door to the bedroom you shared. Aomine drew in a deep breath and exhaled through his mouth, a long strained sound of that of a deflating balloon.

He sat in a chair and hung his head, silently basking in his glorified screw up. He knew he had to make it up to you. Texting Momoi, he told her that he couldn't go to practice tomorrow and secretly planned to take you out as his way of saying sorry. He knew it was a sucky idea but he decided it was better than nothing. After all, he was glad that you were easygoing and didn't ask much of him.

Making it up to you was the least he could do...
