Taehyung's POV
Today's the day we resume on filming. But everything will happen in our building. Every shoot, dance, performance. It's been week since I last saw Sarang. Maybe she'd be here any minute.
When I saw Seol Hee noona, I immidiately waved at her. Me and JK ran to her to grab the coffee and donuts she got for us.
" Where's Sarang noona? " JK asked
" Oh! She'd be working with TXT from now on " She said
what?
" Huh???? " Jimin butted in and took a piece of donut
" She'd be focusing on TxT from now on. She won't be working with you guys anymore " She said
" Aigoo, that's a bum " JK said
" I miss her already " He added
" Well, she's happy there. The boys are respectful and cutes " She said
" Now I am more jealous " JK pouted
" So wait, you mean that's serious? So we wont see her? She'll be very busy with TXT too because their schedules are loaded too " Jimin said
" Uhm yeah, you'll be working with her in like, never " She joked
I am honestly so quiet right now that I know they noticed.
We started filming and it's just so tiring. We had a break for 15minutes and I rushed to the cafeteria.
Why am I expecting to see her or even see a glimpse of her. Why did she suddenly worked with other bands? Is she avoiding me?
I seriously wanted to come to her. But I can't find her anywhere. I can't contact her. I tried waiting outside her gate but no one came. The first time I saw her after weeks is when Seol Hee noona posted a photo of her. Sarang looks thin but still very pretty.
I was kinda hoping to see her and spend time with her but now it's so impossible. I suddenly had the guts to message Beomgyu.
" How's your new group manager? "
" Oh! Hyung! She's alright. She's beautiful and cute " He replied
" Cute? " I asked
" Ne. She's so kind and talks so sweet. You should meet her. Soobin and Taehyun are so into her. We're having so much fun and she's so fun to talk to " He said
" I just heard the news that's why I asked you. Anyway! Good luck! " I replied and put my phone in my pocket.
I resumed on filming and it's already 9pm. When we exit the studio, we saw TxT members from afar but they're walking so fast we didn't caught up.
It is so tiring. It'd be nice to come home to her instead of just being here in my freaking house that doesn't feel home at all.
I saw Yoongi hyung entered his studio and I went after him.
" Not going home yet? " I asked
" Nah, I have spare time. I'll work "
" How's things with Seol Hee noona? "
" You know. Same. It's awkward now but it's okay " He said
" Hyung, are you not serious about her? "
" I am. I just don't know how to prioritize things other than my work " He said
" But what if she got fed up for putting up with this kind of situation? What would you do? " I asked
" I'll make it up to her soon. I won't let that happen. She's mine. I just need to take time " He said
My phone suddenly rang and it's my driver. Waiting for me in the parking. I walked to the elevator and to the exit. I saw Sarang's car just left.
" Could you just follow her for a second but don't be obvious " I said as I pointed out her car
" Okay sir "
She was driving so carefully. And then she stopped by some tteokbokki stall. She went inside her car again and drove. So we follow her until she enter the hills. I'm sure she didn't noticed tho.
We waited for a few minutes until she gets inside her house and turned off the lights. All of the lights. You can't even see what's happening inside.
I sighed and said " Let's go home "
" Okay Sir " He said
I took a shower as soon as I got home and went to bed. Tomorrow will be a work day again. It's so tiring.
There is this news that me and Sowon were seen again but it's just coincidence. It's all over the news but it doesn't matter. No one believed in it anyways plus we were seen got into different car and that I left as soon as Sowon entered the cafe.
What's important for me now is, Sarang. How would I explain it to her. Does she know? Does she know that I went to Sowon after that day? Is that why she disappeared again?
The next morning, I got in the headquarters earlier than schedule. It's still 5am to spend some time on my studio. The call time is around 9am. I walked to the empty corridors and saw Sarang entered her office. Coffee on one hand, bag on her arm, phone and car keys on the other.
Her hair is still wet and I can smell her perfume even tho I am meters away.
Why is she here so early tho? She didn't even turned on her light. What was she doing?
I can't take it anymore. I have to talk to her.
I knocked three times and I pushed the door.
" Yes Taehyung? " She looked at me with a straight face. Expressionless, not mad not happy. Not anything
" Sarang " I said and she just raised her eyebrows like asking me what I was doing
" I need to talk to you " I said
" I no longer handle your group. I'll be focusing on TxT from now on so if you have any concerns, please talk to Seol Hee unni " She smiled
" No, not that "
" Then what? " She said. Fuck why does she have to be like this. She's so hard to read
" It's about that thing. Why I left. I know it's not right and I'm wrong again. Sarang, I just, am sorry " I said
" Oh no it's fine. Are you done? " She asked again but all I can see is her genuine smile
" No. Please. Hear me out " I pleaded
" I heard you. And it's alright. Don't worry about it anymore. Okay? " She smiled again
" Can I go home tonight? In your house? " I asked
" Uhmm what? Are you kidding me? Of course not. You can't. Anymore " She said smiling
" Look it's not what you think it is " I said
" About what? Because there's so much happening right now I'm not quite sure what you're talking about " She said
" Sarang please. I just called her because I needed some company. Besides, she's my best friend. I needed someone to talk to. There's nothing going on between us. Plus I ended our friendship already " I said
" Oh okay " She said
" But, I do not care anymore. I'm sorry. You can do whatever you want tho you don't have to explain. Plus, actions speak louder than words. It's not me that you needed Taehyung. " She smiled
" No, it's not that. Sarang, It's so stupid but please " I said
" It's too early for this shit Taehyung, as what I've said, It's fine. Just, don't drag me in that situation again. I don't want to be involved. Please. The things happened in the soop will stay there, the things that also happened in my house will also stay there. No one will know and you can go on perfectly fine. Now, please leave I have things to do "
" Baby, no " I snatched her wrist and hugged her
" I need you. I need you I'm sorry " I placed my head on her shoulder. Damn she smells like heaven
" It's done Taehyung. Please. Stop messing up with me. You don't need me. Just, be happy with her. I wish you the best. Now please leave "
She said and stood away from me.
I walked out in defeat.
