"Hm...the blizzard outside seems to be going very strongly, although I'm sure it will be over by tomorrow morning."
Lady Dimitrescu says, staring at the window.
"So do you like it??"
Cassandra asks, practically bouncing in her seat, all the sisters stare at me with such wide eyes...while Lady Dimitrescu just sits beside me and smokes, chuckling at her daughters.
"Yeah, you're really good at cooking...!"
I praise, biting into another stale piece of bread...who cares if its tasteless, its better than starving.
Daniela and the blonde cheer, while Cassandra hugs me tightly.
"We're so glad! We had been trying to make human food for you since you had left, now we can cook together!"
Daniela exclaims.
"As a family...!"
The blonde coos.
"A family? Oh, that's such a beautiful idea!!"
Cassandra coos.
"Family..?"
I mumble, the word ringing in my head like a concussion.
...they want me to be part of their family. That hurts to think about, I've still been holding on to the possibility that Karl will calm down...i know i keep repeating this, but i can't just keep Ben here. Karl and I were supposed to get the cure...i still need him with me.
"Yes, dear, you being part of our home feels like a wondrous plan, think of what would come of it; we'd never be apart, we would eat meals together and have such a fun time."
Lady Dimitrescu coos, reaching her hand and setting it above mine, her cold hand touches mine and she smiles slightly.
"Well...that does sound good...but-"
"Oh, im overjoyed! We can decorate your room for a permanent stay!"
The blonde exclaims.
"Yes! Tonight we'll cook an amazing meal for celebration!"
Cassandra says.
"And everyday will be amazing with us all here, we can show you the entire castle!"
Daniela squeals.
"It seems my daughters adore the idea."
Lady Dimitrescu chuckles, looking at me with an expression i can't explain..
"Well...are you sure you'd want a human in your castle permanently? Plus Ben would have to stay here too, and taking care of two humans could be-"
"Shhh, i don't mind caring for the child, and i especially don't mind caring for you, dear."
Lady Dimitrescu coos, cutting me off.....there's no convincing her to reconsider, is there?
"Are you sure..?"
I mumble.
"Of course, I've never been more sure of something in my entire lifetime."
Lady Dimitrescu says.
...they all seem really excited on the thought of me staying...but i can't kill Miranda if im living with four women who adore her...and i definitely cant save the small kid upstairs either.
So its either i leave with Ben after the blizzard...or stay with them forever...i have to make up my mind before they do it for me...what's best in the long run?
"Today has gone by so quickly with you here..!"
Daniela says.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
I ask.
"Its nearly sunset, the day felt like it was very short, not just because of the season!"
Cassandra says.
I look out the window Lady Dimitrescu is beside, and like they said, the sky is bright orange with red tints...although its hard to see with all the snow falling.
"Wow, i didn't even realize."
I mumble.
"I guess its time for sleep? Humans need regular rest, so off to bed with you."
Lady Dimitrescu says, standing up along with her Daughters.
