Yuuri was interviewed at the hospital to make sure he wasn't suicidal. Of corse he lied most of the time but he didn't get sent off to a asylum so he found it pretty worth it.
Yuuri was released from the hospital in the morning. Namjoon drove them both home in silence whilst a man talked on the radio.
"How did you find me?" Yuuri asked finally breaking the silence. "I wanted to see if you would dye my hair." Namjoon cleared his throat. Yuuri nodded looking down at his lap. "You reminded me of Taehyung so much."
"Who?"
"My friend that died last year. He overdosed on heroin. His parents called me and I showed up at the hospital so I could say goodbye. We had been friends since like 6th grade." Namjoon spoke with a sad, quiet tone. Yuuri felt bad now that he had brought Namjoon back such sad memories. "I'm sorry."
"I just didn't want you to end up like him Yuuri."
They drove home and when they opened the door Namjoon's moms surrounded them with questions like 'where were you?' And 'when did you leave?'.
"Yuuri didn't feel well so I took him to the hospital. He's fine now." Yuuri nodded and smiled. Namjoon went and grabbed the box of hair dye off his bed and went to find Yuuri again. "So....do you want to dye my hair?"
"You still got bleach?" Namjoon nodded and Yuuri agreed. They went into his bathroom and bleached his hair before dying it to bright blue color.
"It looks good" Namjoon said after they washed the dye out. Yuuri smiled and washed his hands. "I'm glad you like it. Umm yeah. I imagine your tired because you were at the hospital all night so you should get some shut eye." Yuuri said with a weak smile before he turned around to walk away. Yuuri stopped for a second though. "Wait. Did you mean what you said?"
"What'd I say?"
"That you like me too. Did you mean it or did you feel bad?"
Namjoon looked at the ground trying to make his decision. "I meant it." He said quietly. Yuuri smiled. "Ok then."
"But I don't feel like we should rush it like last time. That was bad." He said. "And I'm sorry that happened to you."
Yuuri nodded sadly and patted his shoulder. "Ok well, I'm prolly gonna get some sleep to so, goodnight." He said. Namjoon just nodded, hanging the towel he was using to dry his hair on a towel rack. Yuuri left and Namjoon sighed. He left the bathroom and entered his room again. He flopped on his bed and closed his eyes trying to fall asleep before school go next day.
Jimin had just gotten home from school and changed his clothes to get ready for work. He sighed, dreading having to see the man who fucked up his mentality all over again.
He fixed his hair in his bathroom and left his house. It wasn't a long walk to work, only about 15 minutes, as his job was in more the city part of town and he lived in the suburban side of town.
He made it to work pushing the door open.
Ahmed sat on the stool waiting for him. "Oh hello jimin." He said smiling which made jimin smile back awkwardly. "So I actually need some help in the back room. Lift some boxes. Let's go." He said grabbing jimin's forearm. Jimin went stiff and tried to get his arm out of the mans grip. "Umm actually I think I should go check the shelves first. To make sure that nothing is in the wrong spot. Double check you know?" He said with a nervous laugh. Ahmed let go of him roughly but with a smile, being passive aggressive. "Ok jimin. I'll just wait for you to finish doing that then." He walked away making jimin let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in.
Jimin checked the shelves, not in a hurry obviously as Ahmed watched him carefully. A lot of the time he was only pretending to rearrange things just to waste time.
Eventually jimin noticed Ahmed leavening to go to the bathroom. Jimin rushed into the back and started rearranging boxes and grabbing some things he noticed where out. By the time Ahmed returned he was already walking out of the back with some boxes in his hands. "I did the back. You didn't have to help me. I'll just go out these on shelves now.
Jimin knew that if the box wasn't empty he would have to go into the back of the store again which scared him so he put the rest of the candy in the box onto the shelf, maybe over stocking it a bit, until the box was empty. He walked to the front, putting the box in the trash. "Ok now I guess I'll just watch the register. Have a good day sir." He said smiling. Ahmed just rolled his eyes and left the store for a while.
Jimin shift was over and he left to go home. He walked out to the parking lot and saw Jin getting out of his car. "Surprise! I'm picking you up from work." He said jimin smiled a little and walked swiftly over to the car. "Jimin!" Someone yelled from the door. Ahmed walked over to him. "I need you to do something before you leave." He said not sparing a glance at Jin. Jin noticed something was off. "Umm well you see, I have school tomorrow and it is kinda late and my boyfriend just drove all this way to take me home so could it wait until tomorrow?"
Ahmed looked from jimin to Jin. "Alright."
Ahmed walked away from the car and re entered the store. Jimin got into jins car and Jin drove away. "Was that your boss?"
"Yeah."
Jin side eyed him suspiciously. "What's up with him. You seem very off around him."
Jimin sat there for a minute. "He raped me." Jimin said blankly. Jin didn't say anything back but made a huge U turn. Jimin found them both back at the convenience store, Jin unbuckling his seat belt roughly. He got out of the car leaving jimin go sit there.
Jimin tried to see what was going on through the windows but he couldn't see anything. Jin marches back to the car and got in, blood running down his face. "Don't worry it's not mine." He said putting the car in reverse and backing out recklessly. "Oh my god! What did you do?!" Jimin yelled turning around in his seat to look back at the store. "I hope I fucking killed him." Jin yelled back, his grip on the steering wheel tighter than it was before.
Jimin put his hand on his forehead. Jin drove jimin back home. The both just sat in the car that was parked in jimin's driveway. "How long ago was it?"
"Like a few weeks ago."
Jin sighed. "Why didn't you tell me?" Jin raised his voice a little more.
"Because I was scared!" Jimin yelled putting his head in his hands crying. "I didn't know what to do." Jimin sobbed.
Jin patted his back. "Ok here's what you do. You go to bed tonight, sleep in things, when you wake up call your boss, and quit." Jin said.
Jimin nodded. "Ok."
He got out of the car and walked into his house going straight up to his room. He got ready for bed and feel asleep early. When he woke up the next morning he did exactly as Jin told him and quit his job.
