Chapter 24 -Maddie-

"Maddie, over here"

"Maddie, is it true you're dating Luke again?"

"Maddie, is it true you broke up Luke and his girlfriend?" I groaned, pushing my way through the paparazzi. I was at Sydney airport. I was surprising Luke. They'd been at home for a month for Christmas which was in a week. I got into the taxi and gave the driver the address.

I got out the taxi and walked up to the front door, dragging my suitcase behind me. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. Soon I heard the door unlock and looked up to see Luke stood at the door.

"Maddie?" He smiled and hugged me. He let go slightly so he could look at me. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to see you, what else?"

"Come in" He said, taking my suitcase and putting it in the hallway. I followed him into the very familiar house. "My brothers are over for lunch, come join us" I nodded and trailed behind him into the kitchen.

"Luke, can you help me carry the food into the dining room?" Liz asked as she turned around to face him.

"Mum, meet my girlfriend, Maddie" Luke said, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me closer.

"Madison?" I smiled. "It's so good to see you again" She said, coming over and hugging me. "Go sit down at the table" She told me as her and Luke followed with food.

"Look who's joined us" Liz said as I stepped into the room.

"Maddie? You're back" Andy said. They say it as if I've been gone two weeks, not two years. I smiled and sat where Luke told me.

"Are you back with Luke?" Ben asked. I nodded. "Why? I couldn't see what you saw in him the first time round" Luke rolled his eyes as he opposite me.

"So, Luke, what happened to Chloe?"

"We broke up"

"Why?"

"We went to this fashion show which turned out to be Maddie and Alex's. Then Maddie came back to our hotel and it all went from there and Chloe got mad and we broke up because I kissed Maddie"

"Chloe was a bitch anyway" Jack said and I held in a laugh.

"That was Maddie's opinion after 10 minutes of meeting her"

"Well, we're glad to have you back, Maddie" Liz told me and I smiled.

"I'm glad to be back"

"You're welcome to stay for Christmas if you haven't got any other plans"

"No, I couldn't"

"Maddie, it's fine. I'm sure Luke would love to have you around"

"As long as you're sure"

"We'd love to have you here" Liz said before smiling at me and continuing to eat.

"Come here" Luke said as I walked into the living room. He patted the space next to him and wrapped his arm around me when I sat down. "I'm so lucky to have you"

"More like I'm so lucky to have you" I leaned in and kissed him. He pulled me closer, deepening the kiss.

"Oh for fucks sake they're at it already" Ben said and we pulled away to see his family had walked in.

"Ben, language" Liz told him, following behind.

"So, want to watch a movie?" We all nodded at Andy's suggestion and Celeste went to set up the TV.

"We were thinking about going to the beach tomorrow, do you guys want to come?"

"Yeah, we'll come" Luke said after checking with me.

"We'll go later in the day, spend the evening there too. Maybe have a barbeque on the beach"

"That's so stereotypical" Luke commented.

"Well, that's what we're doing" Liz said and Luke rolled his eyes before looking over at me to which I kissed his cheek.
