Today I was going on a date with Luke. A real one. I had no idea what he had planned but the Twitter conversation we had worried me slightly. Nevertheless, I was stood in my room getting ready. Luke said that it was going to be a casual date so I had dressed that way. I heard the doorbell ring and opened it to see Luke stood there, one hand behind his back.

"Hey, Lucas"

"Hi" I could tell he was a little nervous and to be honest so was I. "I got you these" He told me, removing his arm from behind his back and holding out a bunch of flowers.

"Luke, these are beautiful, thank you. You really shouldn't have though"

"It's fine, I wanted to" I smiled and followed Luke's eyes to see my sister stood behind us.

"Um, Luke, this is Alex, Al, meet Luke" I said and they smiled at each other.

"Nice to meet you Luke"

"Likewise"

"Al, will you put these in water for me?" I asked her, passing the flowers to her.

"These are pretty" She said, taking them from me. "Have fun on your date but not too much fun!" She shouted as she walked to the kitchen. I laughed and turned to Luke.

"Sorry about her. She's protective of me"

"It's fine, my brothers are the same"

"Shall we go?"

"As long as you tell me where"

"Now that, princess, is a surprise" He told me with a wink.

************

"The fair?" I asked as Luke removed his hands from my eyes.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it"

"Are you sure? Because if not we can go somewhere else"

"Luke, it's perfect" I told him, pecking his lips.

*********

"Do you want to get something to eat?" Luke asked and I nodded. "Hot dogs?" I nodded again and took a seat on one of the picnic benches whilst Luke went to buy the food.

"Here, onions and ketchup just like you wanted"

"Thank you. I feel bad that you always pay"

"I'm just being a gentleman" He said and I smiled.

"Well, thanks" We then went into silence whilst we ate.

"Are you wearing my top?" Luke asked after he'd finished and I was still eating.

"Yeah, sorry, I should've given it back to you"

"It's fine, it looks better on you than me. You can keep it if you want"

"But isn't it one of your favourites?"

"Yeah, but I like it when you wear my clothes" I smiled and took the last bite of my hot dog before wiping my mouth. "Hey, you missed a bit" He motioned for me to come closer and I leaned across the table. He wiped the corner of my mouth with a napkin and then pecked my lips.

"Lets go do something"

"Lets go on the Ferris wheel" I pulled Luke into the luckily short line. When we got to the front Luke gave the man the tickets and we got into the cart.

"Thank you for tonight, Luke. I couldn't have wished for anything better" I kissed his cheek and he smiled down at me.

"I'm glad you liked it. I wasn't sure if you were the type of person who liked this kind of stuff"

"Are you kidding? This is every girl's relationship goal" He laughed and put his hand on my thigh.

"My family loved you by the way. Especially my mum. She thought the world of you"

"Seriously?"

"She said you were amazing. Jack and Ben are still trying to figure out why you like me. Celeste said she was happy to have another girl in the family"

"I didn't think I made that much of a good impression"

"They said you were really grounded and that fame hadn't gone to your head. Trust me, they only had good things to say about you"

"I really liked them too. They were all so nice, especially your mum"

"She wants you too come to Australia some time"

"Really? Why?"

"I don't know but she was insistent on it"

**********

"Thanks" I said to Luke as we stood outside my front door.

"You're welcome. So, I'll see you soon?" I nodded.

"Yeah, see you soon" He smiled and pecked my lips before turning round to walk down the drive. "Luke?" I shouted. He turned around.

"Yeah?" He walked back towards me.

"Since I'm a such a supportive girlfriend, I wondered if you'd come to my dance competition on Tuesday?"

"Of course. I'll see you Tuesday"

"Bye" I said, going into the house.
