this one-shot is based on the idea of serjangteronpi I hope I respected your idea well. It's an e-sport players au, I know nothing about e-sport so I'm sorry for any mistakes or stuff that are not real in the e-sport community. Feedback is appreciated. Enjoy :)

Jisoo had no idea why he started this game. The only game he played in his entire life was 'Mario Kart' and here he was trying to play some games online. For his defense, Jihoon made him do it. Him and Jihoon became friends a year ago and he learned that one of Jihoon's younger brothers was away because of his job as an e-sport player. The three brothers loved playing online and Seokmin became professional before the time when Jisoo and Jihoon became friends so he never met Seokmin. He was now coming home, Jihoon and Chan were really excited to see him again. The two brothers asked Jisoo if he wanted to learn how to play so they could play together.

And Jisoo said yes. But he was clueless where to start and google was not really helping. His first tries were all failures, he had zero kills, was killed almost every time he tried to do something in the game and lost all his lives in nearly five minutes. He was getting really frustrated, in two hour he did not do anything and he started losing faith in himself.

"Oh god ! This is annoying ! I really can't do anything in this stupid game !"

He was interrupted by his phone ringing. It was Jihoon.

"Hi hyung ! Do you want to go to the cafe ?"

"Hi Hoon ! Yes, I'll meet you there in ten minutes."

"Okayy."

Jisoo hung up, grabbed his jean jacket and a random pair of shoes and was outside. The walk to the cafe was really healing. The poor boy was slowly calming down after the anger he felt during the game. He wanted to learn by himself because his friends were all busy during the day and he didn't want to burden them with his newly found interest. He just needed to make it work. Playing with his friends sounds fun and he will be able to do that soon. He knows he will not have the same knowledge about the game but he just wants to play a little.

He joined Jihoon at one of the tables and ordered a latte.

"So how are you ?"

"I'm fine. You ?"

"Same. How is gaming ?"

"Hard. I don't understand anything."

"We can help you if you want."

"No it's fine. You and Chan have already a lot to do with school, work and everything. I can do it. I just need some time.

"We already told you that it was not a problem. We will be happy to help you."

"It's fine Hoon. I can do it."

"Okay, I can't wait to play with you. By the way, Seokmin is coming back in three weeks."

"That's good. I bet your family is happy."

"You have no idea. Chan is so excited, he's draining all my energy."

Jisoo let out a chuckle at the sentence.

"But we talked a bit and he said he was happy to meet you."

"I'm happy to meet the second Lee brother too."

"You should call him that. Maybe he will understand that I am the superior brother."

The two friends locked eyes and started laughing. The 'superior brother' was a joke running between their friend group. And everyone was competing really hard to gain the title. They stayed at the cafe for about two hours before leaving and going home.
