20 - little

hello ! hope you guys spend a nice christmas and here is the last oneshot of the year 2021! I wish all of you a nice new year eve !
today's oneshot is a little space one with little jisoo and caretaker seokmin, it is honestly pure fluff. but if you're not comfortable with that you can skip this one.
however I wish you'll enjoy this and feedback is always appreciated :)

Seokmin woke up to the sound of crying. He got up really quickly knowing where it was coming from. He found his baby lying on the living room floor.

"Oh baby what happened ?"

"I fell."

"Can you get up for Minnie ? So he can see if you have big booboos to take care of ?"

Jisoo sat up on the floor, tears running down his cheeks and laid his legs in front of him. Doing so, he helped Seokmin see if he was badly hurt. Only a small scratch was on the boy's leg.

"You don't want to ? Do you want me to carry you ?"

"Please."

Seokmin picked up the boy and let him put his arms around his neck and circle his legs around his waist. Jisoo was hiding his tear stained face in the crook of Seokmin's neck.

"That was really scary wasn't it ?"

Seokmin only felt his baby nod against his neck. He put his hand on the little boy's head and gently kissed his hair.

"Why don't we go clean that booboo you have on your leg and after that Minnie will make breakfast ?"

Another nod was felt around his neck. Seokmin took them to the bathroom where he put his baby on the counter. He looked at his face before kissing his cheek and wiping the dried tears off with a baby wipe. He took what Jisoo calls the 'booboo cleaner' and looked at his face. He was met with eyes that screamed fear.

"It's not that scary, we did it so many times. Remember that time where you fell when we went ice-skating ? The booboo was so much bigger, it will sting just a little bit and then finish. Plus you're gonna hold my hand and squeeze it when it hurts. Is that okay for you ?"

Jisoo simply nodded, took Seokmin's hand in his and held it very tightly. When Seokmin started cleaning the booboo, the boy squeezed his hand really hard. He then watched him put a Pokemon band-aid on the booboo.

"You did so well baby !"

Jisoo looked at Seokmin with thankful eyes and if the other did not know him so well, he would have missed the demanding look the other was also showing him.

"Do you want something ?"

Jisoo nodded.

"What to you want ?"

"Kiss booboo, please Minnie."

"Of course, everything my little baby wants."

Seokmin planted a kiss on Jisoo's band-aid before kissing his forehead, little giggles coming out of Jisoo's lips.

"Let's go make breakfast now !"

"Yeah, up Minnie up !"

Seokmin chuckled at the very energetic little, it was as if he wasn't crying five minutes ago. Obeying to his baby request he carried him to the kitchen, letting the boy rest his head against his chest.

"So what do baby want to eat for breakfast ?"

"Strawberries !"

"Only strawberries ? What about some oatmeal with it ?"

"No oatmeal. Yucky."

"Okay, no oatmeal. What about strawberries with some corn flakes in your Pikachu bowl ?"

Jisoo happily nodded and watched Seokmin put together his bowl from his chest. Once the bowl was ready, he poked Seokmin's stomach to get his attention.

"What is it baby ?"

"Apple juice, please Minnie."

"Of course, how could we forget the apple juice ?"

He booped Jisoo's nose as he was speaking before putting the bowl on the kitchen counter and took the already prepared sippy cup filled with apple juice out of the fridge. He gave it to Jisoo before picking up the bowl and went to sit at the table. He sat Jisoo on his chair and sat right beside him, before he had the time to whine at the loss of Seokmin. He then proceeded to feed the little never without preasing him of eating so well. It was one of this day where he knew Jisoo will not be out of little space and needed extra care and love after an exhausting week at work, and he was so ready to give the boy all of that.

Once breakfast was done, he carried his baby once again to the bathroom to wash his teeth and put him out of his pajamas. He dressed up Jisoo with a simple black sweatpant and a white hoodie that belonged to him, knowing how the little loved wearing his clothes. After that he sat him down on the couch in front of the TV and played Pokemon.

Knowing Pokemon will give him some time, Seomin retreated to the kitchen to eat his own breakfast : a cup of coffee and some cereal. Checking on his baby by the living room door and finding him deeply immersed in the Pokemon episode playing on the TV, he left for the bathroom. He washed his teeth and face before changing his clothes. He came back to the living room wearing a sweatpant and a sweater. He had no plan of going out today and prefered staying home for Jisoo to relax. He even had a small gift ready for the boy.

During the time he was gone, Jisoo managed to find one of his pacifiers.

"Oh baby ! What do you have here ?"

"Shua found paci !"

"Really ? You know what Minnie found ?"

Jisoo shook his head a no before tilting it as if he was asking what Seomin found. His whole face lighted up as he saw his caretaker taking a Squirtle plushie from behind his back.

"Squirtle ! Minnie found a Squirtle !"

"Yes ! Minnie had a small gift for his little baby !"

"Thank you Minnie ! Shua loves Squirtle !"

Seokmin smiled seeing the boy's excitement over the small plush toy. And Jisoo to show his gratitude planted a paci kiss on his cheek before falling into his lap and cuddling to his chest.

"Do baby want to do something now ? A game with Minnie ? Continue watching Pokemon ?"

"Color with Squirtle !"

Seokmin nodded before setting Jisoo down on the carpet in front of the coffee table and got up to find some crayons and a coloring book. He gave them to the boy once he found the goods. He watched the small boy carefully color a picture with his new plush toy sitting on his lap, paci in between his lips and his hoodie's sleeves falling down to his fingers. He looked absolutely adorable and Seokmin couldn't help but take some pictures of the peaceful baby.

And they spend their day like this, Pokemon playing in the background, coloring, playing games, napping, doing everything Jisoo needed. And Seokmin was more than happy to comply with his precious baby requests.
