31 - heroes

HAPPY ONE YEAR ! hehe it's already been one year since I started this book ! Just a little reminder that my DMS are opened if you have any requests.
I  also come with the news that I passed my exams, yeah me !
Anyway today's oneshot is a Percy Jackson au. If you're not familiar with the universe it's the story of children of Greek gods that fight against threats against their parents and their world. It's a bad resume but you can always look it up ;)

Oh boy, Seokmin was worried. The rumor going around Camp Half-Blood this morning is that the Aphrodite twins had received a visit from their mother. And as much as receiving a visit from your godly parent is rare and everyone dreams of it, it never meant something good. What if his hyung was sent on a quest ? The goddess wouldn't do that, would she ? It explains why Seokmin is running from the dining pavilion where he just had breakfast to cabin 10, the cabin of the children of Aphrodite. He didn't want Jisoo to be sent away to a dangerous quest, away from him and where he couldn't protect him. Not happening.

When he arrived at the cabin, Jeonghan was getting out of it.

"Hey hyung, is Jisoo hyung inside ?"

"Yeah, you can come in. I just need to tell you, he's a bit stressed."

"Is he okay ?"

"He will be, don't worry."

Seokmin nodded and rushed inside the cabin. He saw Jisoo sitting on his bed, eyes not focusing on anything, lost in thoughts. He carefully put his hands on the elder face and turned it to him. Jisoo's eyes now focused on him, he could see the tears threatening to leave his eyes.

"Oh my gods. What is going on ?"

"Mother is sending Jeonghan on a quest, a dangerous one. He's thrilled but I'm so scared for him. And you know he can have two people to come with him ? He asked me. I don't want to go and I don't want him to go."

"It's what we're training for. Jeonghan has been chosen, it's an honor."

"I know. You think I should go ?"

"I don't know that but I'll be honest with you. I don't like the idea of you being so far away from me. That I can't protect you, heal you or even sing to you if you need me to."

"You could always come with me."

"You know I can't. Jeonghan will choose someone else than me to go on that quest. My guess is on Seungcheol."

"I don't want to die."

"You won't, we trained for that since we first arrived at camp. Plus my dad is the god of prophecies and believe me no prophecy that could be made would harm you."

"You don't know that."

"No but I'll make sure of it."

"You understand that I'll go with him. I can't let him go without me, he's my twin. If anything happens to him, I have to be here."

"Yes. I understood from the start. You're so brave. I'm proud of you, always. You'll be my hero. I'll be waiting for you so make sure to come back to me."

"I'll always come back to you. I love you."

"I love you too. If I knew that is how you felt when I had to leave for my quest, I would have never gone."

"But you went and you came back to me, alive. You became a hero as well as my hero. And I promise I will do the same."

"We'll be a couple of heroes."

"Yes, the prettiest couple of heroes."

Seokmin connected his lips to his boyfriend's in a desperate kiss. He never wanted to let go but he didn't have a choice. As he was trying to catch some air, Jisoo reconnected their lips in another kiss, not wanting to let go either and much rather stay in his boyfriend's arms.
