The myth of the Sun and the Moon was known by many. Indeed the heartbreaking story of the divinities and lovers obligated to marry everyone but the one they truly want was told to children from diapers. But the story actually has a huge impact on people's everyday life. Some children were born with one of the two divinities' benediction. A mark representing the sun or the moon was inked in their skin since birth and will only disappear when they touch their other half blessed with the other divinity benediction. The two will live the life full of love and passion the two divinities didn't get the chance to live.

Lee Seokmin was one of these children. He had received the Sun benediction and a small sun symbol was inked on his hip. The boy was thrilled since his childhood to meet his other half and to love them unconditionally for eternity. The perspective of a life full of love has always been the only thing he needed to move on in his life. But even the most dedicated person has a weakness.

And Seokmin's weakness was Hong Jisoo. Hong Jisoo, who always smiles shyly when you meet his eyes. Hong Jisoo, who is always reassuring you and comforting you, despises his touch aversion. The same Hong Jisoo that is always in the library reading a book at lunch time. The same Hong Jisoo that Seokmin has had a crush on since middle school and the same Hong Jisoo that he had become friends with this year in their last year of college.

The only problem was that Seokmin was convinced that Jisoo was not one of the blessed children. He thought the boy was not one to believe in eternal love and that alone broke Seokmin's heart a little.

And as he was staring at Jisoo who was softly speaking about his latest book acquisition wrapped in a fluffy blanket on his couch, he couldn't help but think that the only person he would love forever was Hong Jisoo.

"You're not listening to me."

"I'm sorry hyung, I got distracted. What's this book about ?"

"It's the original myth of the love story between the Sun and the Moon."

"You're interested in this story ?"

"Of course I am !"

"I just didn't know you were ready to read a book that old."

"You know Minnie, this story is really important to me."

"Really ? It is for me too."

Jisoo smiled before losing himself in his thoughts.

Of course, Seokmin noticed. He always noticed when something was happening to Jisoo.

"Minnie, can I tell you a secret ?"

"Of course you can hyung. You can tell me everything."

"I'm one of the blessed children."

Wow.

This changes everything.

"You want to know a secret too hyung ?"

Jisoo just nodded, afraid to say something wrong.

"I'm one of the blessed children too."

The soft gasp that escaped Jisoo's lips was way too adorable to Seokmin's liking.

"I'm a blessed child of the Moon."

"And I'm a blessed child of the Sun."

"It's my first time meeting another of the blessed children."
