His friend was one of the softest people he knew and he refused to see him getting hurt because of a stupid ass. Some said that Jisoo's influence soothes the temper of his boyfriend a bit and that maybe their relationship will last.

The thought of Jisoo being a good influence on his boyfriend broke the moment he ran towards Seokmin, tears falling down his face, at a party after one of their games. The boy wrapped his best friend in his arms guarding him protectively from the asshole trying to take him away.

"Jisoo, babe. Listen. She was no one. I didn't even want to kiss her. It will never happen again. It was a one time thing."

"You cheated on him ?"

"Cheated ? No. It was just a kiss."

"Enough of your bullshit. Leave."

Seokmin looked down on Jisoo in his arms. He was still crying but still managed to utter those words with confidence. He then looked at his best friend.

"Okay, let's go."

He grabbed his friend by the wrist to get him to the car. The ride was silent except for the quiet sobs of Jisoo that broke Seokmin's heart. Once they arrived at the elder's apartment, he gently grabbed a tissue from his backpack and lent it to his crying friend.

"It's gonna be okay."

"I thought it would be different. And now it hurts."

"Do you want me to stay with you ?"

"Can you ?"

"Of course, I can. If you need me."

"Then please stay."

"Okay, go up. I'll call Jeonghan to tell him I won't be coming home tonight."

"Thank you."

Jisoo nodded and Seokmin watched him walk into the building before pulling out his phone and seeing some texts from their friends. He clicked on Jeonghan's contact name and he heard the phone being answered immediately.

"Min ? Are you with him ?"

"Yes, I am. Calm down."

"How do you want me to calm down ? That bastard broke Jisoo's heart ! I will destroy him !"

"And I'll let you do it, but you know he won't approve. By the way, I'm not going home tonight. I'm staying with him."

"Okay that's good. I'll come by in the morning."

"See you tomorrow."
