32 - after a long day of work

hello ;) today's one-shot is my favorite genre : extra fluff, so I hope you'll enjoy it!

Seokmin got off of work ten minutes ago and was on his way to his shared apartment with his boyfriend. After a long day like this one he just wished for a shower and to cuddle his boyfriend to sleep. Since it was late, he knew that Jisoo would be either in bed or on the couch watching tv when he would be home, so he was sure that his boyfriend would be very happy to cuddle in his sleepy state.

And he was not disappointed. When he entered the shared apartment, all he could hear was soft music coming from the bedroom. Deciding on not disturbing his boyfriend, he went immediately to the bathroom to shower and change into pajamas. And when he finally went into his bedroom, he was met by one of his favorite views ever. His boyfriend was wearing a sweat-shirt he stole from his part of the closet and was drowning into their pillows and blankets. Jisoo rose from his comfy position after he heard the door open and closed.

"Minnie ! You're home."

"Got home fifteen minutes ago but I took a shower. Didn't want to disturb you love."

"You never disturb me. Come to bed."

Seokmin smiled before lying down on his bed beside his boyfriend.

"Oh Minnie, you have something on your chest."

"There is a stain on my t-shirt ? Where ?"

"No."

"Then what ?"

"Me."

At these words, Jisoo threw himself on his boyfriend in a bear hug making Seokmin laugh at his antics. Seokmin's arms secured him by the waist as he made his boyfriend more comfortable on top of him.

"You wanted to cuddle ?"

"Well, you've been gone the whole day and I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"And don't act like you don't want to cuddle either."

"I will never deny the fact that your cuddles are the best way to end the day."

"And it has been yours for three months."

Their relationship was still pretty new. They were first college roommates that quickly became very close friends, which got them some teasing comments about their liking for each other. After college they didn't want to separate so they decided to take an apartment together. The very same apartment they still live in today. They got together three months ago after Seokmin got drunk with some of his co-workers and confessed his liking in front of a whole bar. They of course talked about it once Seokmin had sobered up and they were now in a very happy relationship.

"So how was your day at work ?"

"The usual, a bit tiring so I'm happy to be home."

"You've been working so hard lately. Don't your boss think you need rest ?"

"It's just because of the new big client. I'll take vacation days after. So we can go on a little trip together, what do you think ?"

"Minnie, it's a very good idea. And I thought about it before you."

"What ?"

"Well you know, we've been talking about going to visit my family in LA, even before we got together. You know how I call my mom every week and she's always saying how happy it will make her to have us over. So I booked the tickets and we're leaving in two weeks. And if my calculations are right, this file with your new big client will be over by next week which means you can take vacation days."

"You're incredible."

"So that means you're taking vacation days ?"

"Of course. But you really planned a whole vacation for us and didn't tell me ?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise."

"It's a nice surprise, don't worry love. I'll tell my boss tomorrow. How many days do I need to take ?"

"Well the trip is for one week so you can take one week."

"And if I want to surprise you after ?"

"Then you can take some more. But don't waste them all for me."

"It's not a waste if it's to spend some time with you."

"Just don't forget we planned that trip with your family for Christmas. You need vacation days for that."

"I already planned ahead. Those are already taken so don't worry. I still have plenty to take."

Jisoo raised his head from his boyfriend's chest to plant a kiss on his lips before returning to his previous position. Seokmin smiled before stroking his boyfriend's hair in an attempt to get him a bit more sleepy.

"And you love, how was your day ?"

"Oh just fine. We taught the kids how to make cookies today. They were so happy to show it to their parents when they came to pick them up. It was so cute. It made me want one too."

"One cookie ?"

"No, silly. A child."

"Well maybe one day. We never know what the future holds for us."

"Do you want kids ?"

"Of course I want kids. Maybe not now but one day. I want a family with the dog, the house, everything."

"Me too."

"I know love. Now tell me, do you bring some of those cookies home ?"

"I did, they're on the kitchen counter. They're heart shaped."

"Cute. I'll take some to work tomorrow."

Jisoo hummed before raising once again from his previous position. He looked a bit nervous as if he wanted to ask something. Seokmin's reaction was to cup Jisoo's cheek and stroke his thumb across it. Jisoo naturally leaned into his touch and closed his eyes in contentment.

"Minnie."

"Yes."

"Can you promise me something ?"

"Tell me ?"

"Promise me we'll have that family together. Because I don't want it with anybody else but you."

"I promise you love. I don't want it with anyone else but you either."

"Good."

Jisoo smiled and leaned even more in Seokmin's hand before leaving a kiss into his palm. Seokmin chuckled before bringing his boyfriend closer to him and kissed him like he wanted to all day. When their lips separated, they both giggled. Jisoo fell back in Seokmin's chest, cuddling close, leaving kisses on his neck occasionally.

"Sleep love. I know you're tired."

"You're more tired than me."

"I love you so much."

"I love you more."

"Don't start this."

"You're saying that because you know I'll win."

"Good night love."

"Good night Minnie."

They fell asleep quickly, happily wrapped in each other arms, heads full of their future and dreams.
