Chapter 5: Manor

Mina had been searching for you the entire time. As the wise person that you are, you stroll towards her direction the moment you found her at the bench, in front of the ramen store.
"Y/N?" Mina was confused at first, tilting her head and runs to you.
"Yeah! It's me!-"
"What are you thinking?! Do you have any idea how worried I am?!" Mina had scolded you, which is not the first time you've seen this side but it still surprises you.
"Well... s-sorry! I wasn't really feeling well," You felt sorry for her and rub the back of your head.
Mina grabs your wrists, checking every inch of your body to see whether your injured or not.
"You're a little dirty," Mina had noticed and you tensed, pretending to be okay is hard.
"That's..." Mina trails you off when her hands grab your chin, scanning your face.
"What were you doing?" Mina's statement is cold but she's just incredibly worried about you.
"Y-You're too kind, Minari. It's so hard to keep secrets from you," You admit.
She releases you out of her grasp and places a hand on her waist.
"Minari? You called me that nickname when you're in a good mood. You were just screaming to death earlier like a baby. What's the sudden duality?"
"It's..."
"Well, it's good that you're fine now," Mina is relieved, sighing in a calm manner. "So, tell me what happened?"
"Come closer," You demand.
Mina blinks in confusion and brings her ears closer to you as you whisper.
"I met Nayeon,"
"EEHH?!" Mina wheezes in exaggeration. You were slightly taken aback by her reaction and you shush her to be quiet.
"Shh! Too loud," You warn.
"H-h-how?! She barely goes out! Also, an idol isn't supposed to be wandering outside in public!" Mina's cheek is reddened in surprise, though there is an excitement within her.
"I really want to tell you a lot of details but I have to go," You tell.
"Go? Where? C-Could it be..." Mina stutters.
"Yeah... it's as you think... Nayeon's house,"
"You lucky brat!" Mina grabs your collar and violently shook you to death.
"W-wait! I never expected this to happen too! I need to know why she's willing to bring me to her house before her concert tonight so I'll tell you the details later!" You hardly explain while Mina shakes you, and she stops.
"Fine! Good luck! Tell her I said hi! A-Also her autograph! A picture too!" Mina says, and she is evidently excited.
"I know, I will" You smile gently.
