Chapter 9: The Window

"You are a girl?!" You wheeze, a hand covering your gaped mouth as you look at her in fazed.
"You really have no manners, Ban Y/N. That's not how you appreciate a woman. " Jeongyeon mutters nonchalantly and is in the process of taking her pants off.
"That's inconsistency coming from you! Didn't you say you were a man? I-I'm not looking, by the way! Why are you hiding your gender?!" You had turned around and closed your eyes with your hands.
"It doesn't matter to you, does it?" Jeongyeon says deeply and her expression gets darker.
"Yes, it does! This is the first time I encounter an unexpected twist in my life!" You say.
Jeongyeon had finished changing her outfit and casually walks forth to you as she patted your shoulder.
"There's more to come, you see," Jeongyeon whispers and continues. "I'd really appreciate it if you pretend this didn't happen,"
Your head turns over your shoulder to look at Jeongyeon, "Aren't you... mad?"
"No. You're not here to peek at me. I can see lies. In my field of view, when the person is telling lies, they grow horns on top of their head. That's my ability. You don't seem to have one," She says.
"Unbelievable imagination," You had thought she made it up, but she was honest.
"What is your plan now, Ban Y/N?" Jeongyeon reaches the door and hasn't opened yet.
"Plan?"
"Your eyes tell me you have an idea, correct me if I'm wrong," Jeongyeon says, chilling.
"I-I can't say for sure..." You breathe.
"If you have any idea, tell me. Let's save Lady Nayeon together,"
Does Nayeon know about this...?
ーTo think that Jeongyeon was a girl all along I can't help but suspect her for murdering Nayeon but...
Upon debating with yourself, you exited the room and Nayeon called you to go downstairs to join the ride, just like the previous loop.
"You okay now?" Nayeon asks and you nod.
"That scream was real. It's not the first time I hear you struggling with your mental health," Nayeon seems happy and patted you in the back.
"Huh? When was the first one?"
"You've forgotten already? When you ran into the trees, remember? I was on disguised,"
"Y-You heard that?! I'm so ashamed!" Your red face shows.
"Lady Nayeon had told me about it," Jeongyeon joins the conversation, standing next to your side and you are beyond bashful.
"Oy! You can't keep secrets, can you?!" You talk to Nayeon madly but with sarcasm.
"Jeongyeon suspected you, so I told him your baby side~" Nayeon says happily.
"Who're you calling baby?"
"Let's get in, let's continue the ruckus inside the car," Nayeon suggests.
Just like that, the loop is the same. You meet Manager Taehyung again behind the entrance of the building. His voice never fails to send you chills down your bones.
Despite his look, he's a coward, you thought.
Following the usual route, Taehyung tours you to the practice room. You have to pretend you don't know the place to avoid suspicion.
