"That reminds me. Don't you have any questions to ask, Y/N? I'm sure you're confused."
You have returned.
A regretful, sorrowful expression elicited on your features. You weren't ready for the next.
You've wanted to spend more time with Chaeyoung.
Your hand caresses your crushed chest. That moment was already a part of your memories.
In a state of mental breakdown, you still have the tiny strength to speak. "Chaeyoung..."
She was the first person in your mind, hoping this is the second life she was talking about.
"You okay?" Sana, who's apparently revealed to be the Spirit wolf and Mina's sister in your loop, came by your side in concern.
"Chaeyoung... where... where is she...?" You ask them.
"You're asking about Chaeyoung?" Nayeon raises a brow.
You embrace yourself from the chill. You still thought back to how you and Chaeyoung fall in the tall building, how you reached her hand.
"I'm in love with you,"
Fear has consumed your thoughts.
Fear of being forgotten.
Fear of suffering alone.
"If you're asking about her, she's probably out looking for the best spot to paint," Jeongyeon speaks.
"Okay... I'll go look for her..." You mumble in a low voice and walks through the door.
"Take care~! Careful of the Spirit wolf, okay?" Sana smiles sweetly, and you stop as soon as you reach the door.
You look back to observe each of their faces, it was suspicious when you think about it.
ーThat's right... Sana has warned me about this before... I didn't know it was her all along and... it can't be just me who knows this...
"Shouldn't the Spirit wolf be the one to be careful?" You murmur with a slight scoff under your breath.
"What do you mean?" Nayeon blinks.
"It means exactly as I said... The Jackson Cult will make their first move to assassinate the Spirit wolf before morning rises," You state.
Sana gasps softly, "How'd you know that?"
"I just know." You coldly leave the room to find Chaeyoung. She was your priority to see first in your eyes.
While you walk out, the memories of being tortured by the Spirit wolf lingers in your brain. You grit your teeth furiously and fists.
You weren't expecting the Spirit wolf to be Sana.
ーYou were smiling brightly... throughout the night... You calmed me down when I was at a state of instability. You were enjoying that night. It was you all along... Spirit wolf..! I'll have to thank you for making me suffer than I am...
You have a scary, frightening look in your eyes that seems like you're ready to kill someone.
But Chaeyoung softens your heart.
You cried softly, continuing to step forward.
You didn't want to go return. The both of you were already accustomed to each other and what of happen if Chaeyoung wouldn't be able to remember you?
