I laid in the sand, watching Dixie splash Charli.

"Mind if I join you?" Thomas spoke, catching my attention.

"If you don't sit down, I'll throw you into a shark's mouth," I joked. He chuckled and sat down next to me.

"I love the sand," He muttered.

"It is quite amusing," I spoke in an accent to make him laugh. I held out my hand for him to grab. He interlocked our fingers and laid our hands down in between us. The beach was silent, as the house was the only people who think coming to the beach at 10 P.M. is normal. All you could hear was the sounds of the waves and the distant screaming of Charli.

"Thomas, thank you," I sighed.

"For what? Being handsome? You don't have to thank me for that," He joked.

"For being there. You were the only person who helped me with Ryland Thank you," I slightly smiled.

"I would go to the moon for you," He softly chuckled.

"Stop trying to be a flirt," I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Alright, I'll stop," I turned back to the sky and blinked a few times.

"It's gorgeous," I widened my eyes to get a better look.

"This is what I want my life to be. Surrounded by the most amazing people, under the stars, and happy," Thomas explained.

"I want that too," I responded. I gripped his hand tighter, never wanting to let go.

"Thomas, never let go."

"I won't."

And the day he left was the hardest.

"I'm so sorry Liv."

"You're going to be a great vlogger."

"Thanks."

"I love you."

"Always and forever."

"Always and forever," I mumbled.

"Hm?" Thomas hummed in response.

"Nothing," I lied.

"Always and forever, huh?" Thomas smirked. I moved my hand up and lightly slapped him.

"Shut up," I got up, running into the water. Thomas followed me, getting splashed in the process.
