"We have a Code Blue in Room 235, I repeat we have a Code Blue in Room 235." The louder speaker said.

I quickly dropped my pen and chart and darted into my patients room.

"Status!" I yelled as I ran up to the 17 year old boy who'd I've made good friends with.

"Parents said he was starting to feel tired, had a seizure and was unresponsive." Another nurse said as he grabbed some paddles.

"Charge to 200!" I ordered.

"CLEAR!" The other nurse said as placed the paddles on the patients chest.

I glanced outside the windows to see the patients parents grasping each other.

"His heart rate is 120/40."

"Keep an eye on him and inform me of any changes, Kens." Callen said as he walked through the door.

"I need you to keep a close eye on Lachlan, he's a family friend." Callen said and then exited.

I glanced over at Lachlan to see he had his eyes wide open.

"You gave me quite a scare!" I said as I sat down in the seat beside his bed.

"What happened to me?" Lachlan asked as he played with his IV.

"You went into a cardiac arrest, but you're all better now." I said with a huge smile.

He smiled back and grabbed took my hand in his.

"Do you think I'll ever get better?" Lachlan asked.

"There's no doubt in my mind, Lachlan."

Lachlan was about to say something when Nell bursted through the door.

"Kens, we've got trouble in 237."

"I'll be right there!" I said as I jumped out of my seat.

"I'll be back as soon as I can, Lachlan!"

The patient in 237 had been found by police highly intoxicated on the street, and he must now be going through withdrawal.

I ran into the room to see the man throwing around supplies.

"SIR! You need to calm down," Callen said trying to get close to him.

"You're going to tell me what to do!" The man says he nervously ran his fingers though his hair.

"Has any for his tox screen back?" I asked. Everyone shook their head.

The man started to get more agrees ice, so I thought fast. I grabbed some morphine from the hallway cabinet and grabbed a syringe.

I bolted back into the room and showed Callen the needle. He nodded and buzzed my way through the crowd of nurses and stuck the syringe in the man's leg.

He managed to punch me in the face, which had a great enough force to knock me to the ground.

Callen and the other nurses had managed to hold him down on the bed, until the morphine started to make him tired.

I pulled myself up, and carefully touched the side of my face that had been punched.

"I'm letting you go for the night, Kens," Callen said as he brushed my injuries cheek with his thumb. "I'm sure Marty will be glad to see you." He said as he patted me on the back.

"Thanks G!" I say with a sigh.

I walk to the nurses station and grab my bag. I take the elevator down to the lobby and sign out.

"Tough shift?" The lady at the desk asked.

"You have no idea!" I said with a laugh.

I hopped into my car and headed home. I carefully walked though the door at 01:00am to see Deeks was up watching television.

"Kens?" He asked as he got off the couch.

"I'm home." I say as I slip off my running shoes.

"What are you doing home? You haven't been gone 12 hours yet..." He said before switching on the lights.

"What happened to you?" Deeks said as he rushed over to check my face.

"Nothing. I was just punched in the face by a patient. This stuff happens all the time." I say with a shrug of my shoulders.

"Getting punched by a patient is normal? Maybe in Grey's Anatomy!" Deeks said as he gestured towards the TV.

"Greys Anatomy is nothing like a real hospital, Deeks. It's all made up! Besides, cops bring in people all the time that need our help. Most of them get handcuffed to a bed!" I said as I walked upstairs to change out of my scrubs.

"I'm fine, Deeks really." I said as I take off my shirt. Deeks gives me his signature look when he can tell I'm not okay.

"I'm good, Deeks." I said as I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth.

I look at myself in the mirror and see the bruise that is starting to form on my face. It's not a huge area, but the guy sure punched me hard.

I finish brushing my teeth and crawl into bed with Deeks.

"Goodnight sweetie." Deeks says as he kisses the back of my neck.

"Goodnight." I say have asleep.

"URG!"

I glance down at the one thing no woman ever wants to see.

"Not Pregnant."

I aggressively through the test in the garbage and wash my hands. I put my hair up in a messy bun and run down stairs in my pajamas.

"So?" Deeks asks with hope.

I sit up at the island beside Liam and start to feed him his apple sauce.

"It's a no, again." I said with disappointment.

I feed Liam a teaspoon and he takes it willingly.

Deeks walks up behind and wraps his arms around my waist.

"It's all about patience, Kensi. It'll happen sooner or later." Deeks said as he kissed my cheek and went back to making his "S'more Cakes."

"I hope it's soon."

OHHH!! I decided to add another scene of Kensi at the hospital because I find those really fun to write!

In the most recent episode which aired about two hours ago here, Deeks mentioned he liked making S'more Pancakes, which I just had to add to the story.

I thank you all for your continuous support, all your comments are so encouraging, they all put a smile on my face.

Kisses, Aly 😘❤️
