"Do you really have to go?" I asked him with a puppy dog face.
"I'm afraid I do...I have no choice, it's what I signed up for." He said as he zipped up his suitcase, and put it upright on the ground.
Deeks was wearing his uniform, with his hat placed over his freshly cut hair. He was sad to say goodbye to his longer hair, but it had to go.
"I uh, guess its time to get you to the base." I say with tears streaming down my face. Deeks pulled me into a long hug, and I cradled my head under his chin.
"I love you so much, Marty Deeks. I've always loved you and I always will." I whimper.
Deeks laughs, but I can tell he's holding back tears.
"I love you to the moon and back, Kensi Marie Blye. I'll be back, sugar bear. I always come back.

It was time to let go to the love of my life for who knows how long.
I dropped Deeks off at the base, and he met with his commander, who took his bags and attendance. Deeks saluted the guy, and quickly ran back to me, where I was sobbing uncontrollably.
"I don't have much time, babe. But I want you to know that what ever happens, I'll always love you and Monty." He said while he kissed my forehead.
"I love you," I whispered. Deeks pulled me into a passionate kiss, which would be the last for a long time.
Our arms stayed in touch till the last second, holding into each other, not wanting to let go.
The minute he hopped on that plane, I felt like half of me was ripped away.
