I gave birth to a baby boy on February 20th. He weighed in at 6lbs 3oz. He was the most beautiful human being I have ever seen. He has big blue eyes like his dad, and brown hair from his mom. He wasn't born with a lot of hair, but the colour was definitely like mine.
I was in labour for almost 8 hours and every second of every minute, I wish Deeks could have been there to help me through it.
In the end, it was all worth it. Deeks and I brought another life into the world, and I couldn't be happier.
I was cuddling with baby Deeks when Callen walked into my room.
"Hey Kens! How ya holding up?" He asks as he sits on the chair beside my bed.
"I couldn't be happier!" I say as the baby plays with my pinkie finger.
"Have you thought of any names yet?"
I shake my head and look down at my son.
"I don't want to name it without Deeks, but that's unfair to a poor kid to be called 'baby'" I say with a laugh.
Callen smiled and stood up.
"You tell me when you think of a name, I want to be the first to hear it." He smiles before he leaves my room.
After Callen leaves, I start to think of names that sound good with "Deeks."
Aiden, Austin, Connor, Liam, Peter. It was just too overwhelming.
Then the name hit me.
Liam Tyler Blye-Deeks.
I've always loved the name Liam. The name is perfect for my son.
"Hey Liam, I'm your mommy. Daddy's not here yet. But don't you worry, he'll be back before you know it.

I was released from the hospital two days later. I can't believe Liam is already two days old. He's still so tiny and fragile, I'm always fearing something is going to happen.
I place Liam carefully into his car seat and shut the door. I climb into the drivers seat and start the car.
Before I put on my seatbelt I turn around to see Liam fidgeting around in his seat like a newborn usually does. He makes me laugh, and I lightly brush his head before turning around to leave the parking lot.
I pull into the garage 10 minutes later to find Liam fast asleep. I gently take him out, and bring him into the house. I place the carrier on the floor while I put away my jacket and clothes.
I bring the carrier with me upstairs. I walk into the master bedroom and place Liam on the floor. I take him out and cradle him against my chest.
I carefully crawl into bed, and I lay him down next to me, his head under my chin. Liam starts to grab onto my hair, and I brush his cheek with my finger.
"I love you."

I know! It's short, I'm sorry!! 😭I had a hard time choosing a name, but finally decided on Liam. I love the name and it sounds good with Deeks. :)
I can't wait to start writing the next chapter. Thank you so much for reading. I love you all. <3
