It was him. My husband, my friend and my lover was standing right before my eyes.

I felt Nell take Liam out of my hands, if she hadn't I probably would have dropped him.

He was talking to the pilot, his smile lighting up the whole room.

"DEEKS!!" I yell at the top of my lungs, while I run into his arms.

I jump into his arms and wrap my legs around his waist as I breathe in his scent.

He puts me down on the ground, and caressed my head in his arms. He placed a passionate kiss on my craving lips, and the whole terminal was clapping.

"You're home!!" I whisper in his ear while I give him another hug. At this point I'm crying uncontrollably.

I back away from Deeks and rub the tears off my cheeks.

"There's someone I want you to meet," I smile as I walk over to Nell. She hands me Liam and I walk back towards Deeks.

"This is our son, Liam." I say as I place Liam in his fathers arms.

Deeks looks at me with a confused face.

"He was just born last week, February 20th to be exact." I said with a huge smile.

"All of this happened when I was gone?" Deeks asked with slight guilt.

I nod my head as he pulls me into his side. For the first time in forever, we were together as a family.

Liam slept the entire car ride back to our house. I let Deeks sit in the middle, so he could admire his son for the entire ride. Our hands were interlocked, squeezing each other like we were never going to letting go. I rested my head on his shoulder and embraced his warmth that I've missed for almost a year.

Eric pulled into our driveway, and I could tell Deeks was already in heaven. Of course they're isn't any beach's let alone surfing in Afghanistan. Eric and Nell helped Deeks take all his luggage out of the back, while I unstrapped Liam from the car.

Eric and Nell gave Deeks another hug and headed back home.

We waved as they drove off, and when they were out of sight, we started to put the suitcases back inside.

When we stepped inside, Deeks let out a huge gasp. I panicked and rushed to Deeks' side.

"What's wrong, honey?" I ask as his mouth is wide open.

"I can't believe Kensi Marie Blye managed to keep our house clean!" He says as he picks me up and swings me around in the air.

He puts me down and I lightly punch him in the arm.

"I've always kept the house clean! It kept my sanity while you were gone. It made me always feel like your were going to step through the front door as if you were coming home from work." I say as I pick Liam back up and carry him into the kitchen.

"I want to show you something." I say as I take Liam out and cradle him in my arms. He follows me upstairs and I show him Liam's nursery.

"D-did you do this?" Deeks asks as if he's shocked.

"When you're on maternity leave and have nothing to do all day, yes I painted the nursery." I say proudly.

I place Liam in the crib while he's still fast asleep. Deeks walks over and places a hand around my my waist.
