The building that would be used for the Hero Courses training today was tall- various flights of stairs, security cameras, and floors overtaking the entirety of the inside space.

Every room that you and Iida entered was littered with trash and manmade walls, various flights of stairs that went up and down scattered the area. You figured this was done to throw the Hero students off their guard, giving them a multitude of options to move about with no real affirmation as to whether or not they made the right choice.

There were a total of seven floors, you speculated, meaning the weapon you were all meant to protect could be anywhere. You knocked off room after room, associating yourself with the environment while simultaneously looking for the giant object.

A small explosion was heard two rooms above you, letting you know Bakugous location. You hadn't had a chance to share the micro-transceivers that All Might had given you with the blonde (You had already handed Iida his, though he hadn't turned it on), so you figured this was his way of alerting the group without having to go out of his way to look for the both of you.

How chivalrous.

You and Iida both made your way to the top floor, looking through the two other rooms quickly before ditching that action and hurrying off to meet with the explosive peer. As you entered the room, you noticed that it was far more spacious from the other floors which contained plenty of walls and turns that resembled that of a labyrinth. In this room, there were only pillars that stretched from the floor and reached the concrete above it, with the weapon and some strewn about debris left behind for some final touches.

Whether he had heard you or not, Bakugou makes no action to acknowledge either of your arrivals, opting to face one of the exits of the room. His hand clenches from time to time, showing the restlessness that he feels as he waits for the activity to start. His gauntlet clanks every now and then, connecting with the small hand grenades hanging off his waist.

As Iida wanders about towards the weapon, curious of the item, you walk up to your other teammate, silently holding out the ear device for him to take. He doesn't say a word as his glove covered hand reaches for it, taking it delicately as he turns it from side to side, inspecting it for dirt that isn't there.

You roll your eyes, wondering if that action was meant to insult you and your cleanliness, before inserting the last gadget into your ear. As you try to pull one of your hands away, however, the cuffs dig into your wrists, effectively stopping the action as the ringing of the chains take over any noise in the room.

You grumble, shaking your arms out in order to rid yourself of the small pain that lingered. It's a little annoying, having to wear the cuffs as you do mundane stuff, but it isn't as much of a pain as you thought it would be. At least you still had your Quirk on you, you supposed.

Cautiously, you brought both hands up to your ear instead, learning from your previous mistake. Tapping the button on the side of the device twice, you hear a small beep as it comes to life, letting it connect with the ones close by. 'That should do it...'

Waiting for the last of your five minutes to tick down was awkward. No one made any attempts at collaborating, the silence suffocating as you all stood in your own spots. One could assume that the quiet was due to the fact that you all were total strangers to one another, but you knew the real reason was due to Bakugous less than friendly nature towards anything that breathed wrong in his eyes.

Suddenly- as if trying to rid the room of the tense atmosphere- Iida breaks the stuffy silence, voice stiff as he says, "Training or not, assuming the role of a Villain pains me..." He pats the weapon, which slightly moves under his hand, as he examines it closely. "So we merely have to protect this... It's made out of paper mache..."
