- 12 Days Before the Sports Festival -
Commencing your thought out regiment was a bit harder than you had initially assumed.
While you had been granted the security badge that let you walk in and out of any room on campus, it wasn't as easy as just, well, walking in. You hadn't accounted for others already using the training grounds you wanted to gain access to, and had even accidentally stumbled upon a group of third years trying to train in Gym Gamma.
They'd been kind about the mixup, even offering to leave a bit early if you really needed the space, but you'd left in such a hurry you didn't even think about staying, much less hearing out what they had to say.
Safe to say, you tried to be a bit smarter in your next attempt.
It was easy enough to talk to Yamada about the predicament, and through tears from laughing at your overall embarrassment, he ended up handing you a set schedule of who would be using what, allowing you to plan ahead accordingly. He also advised you text him about it every once in a while, just to check in if someone had canceled, subsequently offering up an opening slot for the day that wouldn't be marked down until later.
You had thanked him, of course, but not before offering up an empty treat bag to him, just to watch the Pros face fall when he realized there was nothing inside. Feeling retributed, you had left, opting to just start the next day, seeing as everything has been booked with no space to take.
So, here you stood, outside of Ground Omega early in the morning. School wouldn't start up for another two hours, and since nobody had tried to claim this training ground today, you didn't need to worry about interrupting anyone or being interrupted yourself.
You still cringed a little when you thought of the surprise the third years had worn when you'd walked in like you owned the place, face feeling hotter than it should during the still crisp hours.
Just as you were about to head to the security scanner right next to the door, there were a sudden set of footsteps marching up behind you, a gruff voice calling out to you to stop before you could even properly set up. "Hey, ya fraud, wait up."
'You have got to be kidding me...!'
Glancing over your shoulder, you were met with Bakugou in his gym uniform. He looked awfully smug at having caught you in time, slowing his pace obnoxiously as he came up to you. "Was wondering when you'd finally turn up."
You rolled your eyes, already upset at having been caught right as you were about to enter. "What do you want?"
The blonde shrugged, hands in his pocket as he looked at his surroundings. "I'm just here to train, like you are. So, open up, would ya?"
You shook your head, facing him completely as you tiredly said, "No way. I'm the one who's supposed to use this place and you didn't even sign up for a training ground. Go find someone else to leech off of."
"Funny, I can say the same about you."
You raised a brow, arms crossing in front of you as you waited for him to elaborate. Bakugou just smirked, taking a moment before saying, "Your name wasn't on any lists for this place, yet, you seem confident in being allowed inside."
"I talked to someone in the staff and asked if there was any openings because I forgot to sign up yesterday. They said there were, and that they'd unlock it for me electronically."
