Sliding across the floor, you stop Midoriyas falling body from colliding with concrete at the last second.
Laying the boy softly on the ground, you kept his head on your lap as you looked over him. Midoriya had been knocked out cold- his breathing shallow and arm laid limply to the side. Taking into account his past injuries, it was most likely broken. Soot covered him from head to toe, a major amount of bruises and burns already forming on his bare arms and face.
In short- it wasn't a pretty sight.
From one of the rooms entrances, two small robots came in holding a cot, heading in your direction. You helped the two mini-bots load Midoriya onto it, making sure he wouldn't fall off, before they exited the way they came. You faintly heard one of them mention the Nurses office before they finally faded from view, their little noises carrying off until all traces of them were gone.
Everything had gone quiet after All Mights last
announcement, everyone gathering their thoughts as the activity finally ended. Standing up, you stretched your tired limbs, rubbing off the ash that had fallen onto you, before looking around the heavily destroyed room.Nothing was left unscathed. Walls that hadn't been knocked over had their fair share of scorch marks, broken shards of glass littered the walkways, and the foundation of the building was now visible. The school had more than the necessary funds to fix everything, but you still cringed at the notion of your one team members destructive capabilities. You doubted the other teams would have performed in such a manner, but what was done was done, you supposed.
Looking towards your partner, you watched as he stared absently at where the green haired boy once stood before he was taken away. Disbelief lined his face, breathing turning heavy as he silently began to freak out within his own mind. "Bakugou?"
He hadn't heard you (Or if he did, he didn't respond), instead, his breathing turned into heaving as he began to shake violently, hands crackling with mini explosions. You watched silently as the blonde released whatever built up energy he still had, wary of making a wrong move that would make him freak even more.
Shakily, his eyes roved over you blearily, mouth opening and closing as took a step or two back, maintaining his distance, though he didn't seem all there at the moment.
It didn't dawn on you at first, but you soon realized that the fiery blonde was likely having a panic attack. You weren't really equipped for situations like these, so you stayed where you were, hoping the student would either snap out of it himself or some other person would come to help him properly.
It was all for nought, though, because after a few moments Bakugou began to register his surroundings better, eyes clearing up on his own terms. When he finally realized his predicament, he flinched, cold scowl back on his face as if it had never moved as he made eye contact with your standing form.
The shock and fear that was visible in his bloodshot eyes, however, had remained.
"What? What are you looking at?! Y'done with fucking up the exercise or are you still trying to find ways to mess things up?! Useless fraud-"
Before he could say anything else, All Might came up from behind him, cape billowing at the speed he had used. He placed a hand on the blondes shoulder, and bent slightly to try to be on his level. "That's enough. Let's head back, Bakugou. It's now time for your grading. Remember: whether you win or lose... you can always come out ahead by learning from the experience."
Patting him on the back, All Might turned to you, ignoring the teen who was now walking away robotically, small keys in hand. "Now, let's get you out of those cuffs."
