- End of February -

Aizawas words rang true and for the next two weeks, Gym Gamma had become your new and tiring home.

Training was thrilling to say the least. Aizawa was an amazing fighter and an expert at controlling his quirk even under heavy strain. Sparring with him always brought something new to the table and the sessions ended in either heavy ties, with both of you just off the mark of truly winning over the other, or in your ultimate defeat, something you hoped to rectify if ever possible.

To others, the time spent inside the gyms cement walls would probably feel like Hell, but you were thriving off of it. Back at the Commission, sparring was always held at the basement level of the building with barely any room for extreme Quirk usage as it was all simulated anyway. It wasn't stimulating enough to truly grasp your attention and add on the minimal to no power use, and you were essentially a sitting duck.

Overall, it was underwhelming. The sessions ended far too early and you usually left the room feeling drained, even if you hadn't done anything worth breaking a sweat over.

It was understandable, you suppose. A majority of the elder workers at the Hero Commission were Quirkless so, of course, they also had to have limitations set about how to work with you. That is what your handlers were for, and yet you never were never allowed to properly use your Quirk to its full extent, leaving you to struggle with other parts of it.

So, working in Gym Gamma with no limitations set was like a dream come true for you.

Aizawa was like a grumpy angel sent from the heavens. Yes, he worked you to the bone and yes, there were moments where your bruised up body would curse him out the next morning, but you wouldn't trade this experience for the world. Slowly and hopefully, with Aizawas help, you would be able to learn more about you and your Quirk than ever before.

Close combat was your go to, mostly because you avoided using your Quirk until absolutely necessary. For a majority of your life, you had barriers set by the Commission, with them going so far as to tell you which aspects of your Quirk were to be used and when. All the while, they reminded you of the possible pain you could experience should you overuse your power in any way.

And, yes, you understood. You were mature enough to acknowledge the fact that maybe you couldn't do everything you set your mind to and that was okay. You understood that the Commission was just looking out for you and making sure you could lead a long and prosperous life being the Hero that you wanted to be all while being safe about it.

But it still hurt a little to see your wishes disregarded, to be disregarded completely even if it was with your health and benefit in mind.

However, Aizawa, your wonderful guardian, had made it very clear from the get-go that your Quirk would be put under any and all types of stress in order to understand just where you began and ended. All of you would be put to the test and, God, you loved every second of it.

Sure, there was that horrible three day period where you had to stay in Recovery Girls office due to the heavy fever you obtained in training, but even then, Aizawa was persistent on getting you back on your feet.

Whether because he felt obligated to do it or he wanted you in top shape, you didn't know. All you knew was that Aizawa was a better teacher than you originally thought he would be.

As the Entrance Exam began to rear its head, training with Aizawa became limited, but that was fine. You'd either train with stone dummies that Cementoss was kind enough to set up before you arrived or with your new 'buddies'- Kayama and Yamada.
