Circling the letter 'A,' you flipped the thin sheet of paper over, glancing over each question to make sure you had answered them all before turning in the slip.

The weekend had come and gone, a new school week taking over once more as everyone rushed back onto school campus before the first bell could ring. The low grumbling of early morning fatigue was the only noise in the class when you had first entered, and now, the sounds of mechanical pencils joined in, everyone disgruntled with the Pop Quiz Aizawa had all granted you with for homeroom today.

The assignment was fairly easy, though, the advantage you had on others over these topics contributed greatly, seeing as many had barely learned of these laws in full. These regulations had been ingrained so deeply into your mind, you'd probably find it hard not to remember the lectures you were given. The Commission took its history very seriously, what with a majority of their higher ranking officials being Quirkless themselves, so they always put emphasis on the means in which they got there- controversial background and all.

Quietly, you stood from your desk, leaving your answered quiz at Aizawas podium. The older man had scurried off to his usual corner, instructing everyone to leave the papers elsewhere and take some time outside of the class until everyone had finished. You'd heeded his words, leaving without so much as a sound, save for the small creak of the tall doors hinges as you took to the hall.

Standing in the schools freshly cleaned linoleum floors, you took in a breath of fresh air. Being back at U.A., especially with fresh reminders of the first weeks fiasco, had you severely on edge. From the beginning, you had been under the assumption that nothing could get past the Pros, but you'd been proven wrong, and you now had to make up for your careless actions.

Resigning yourself to a long hour, you began a small and languid trek down the hall, a vending machine placed smoothly around the corner. The snacks you picked at whenever lunch hit had run out last you approached, so you took the time to stock now, when you knew the appliance would be filled to the brim with treats.

Slipping in some coins that amount to three hundred yen, you purchased a total of three bags, opting to open one as you waited. No one else had joined you outside just yet, so you basked in the serene atmosphere a little while longer, popping a mushroom-looking chocolate biscuit in your mouth as the minutes went by.

The silence you were surrounded in was nice, the small hum of air conditioning and fluorescent ceiling lights creating a soft lull that overtook most thoughts. The only thing that did sully the moment, just slightly, was the view of the front gate you currently had, reconstructed in all its new glory thanks to Power Loader.

Unsurprisingly, reporters still took to camping on the other side, desperate to get a glimpse of the Number One Hero in action to post on their lowly tabloids. They hadn't taken to bombarding students again, however, so you took that as a small win, glad that the crowd outside wouldn't bother the newcomers, at the very least.
