"Now, for today's basic Hero Training..."

After half a day of constant quizzes, a horrible rendition of the USA national anthem (Courtesy of Present Mics English lessons), and a small lunch break, you finally make it to midday.

Today, rather than the usual scheduled classes with Cementoss, Aizawa had stepped in after the bell had rung, announcing the surprise training he had planned.

"This time, All Might, myself, and one other will be supervising your work."

Sero, the Quirk tape user, raised his hand. "Um, what are we doing, exactly?!"

"Preparing you for disaster relief, from fires to floods," Bringing out a small card from his pocket, one that highly resembled the one All Might had brought out during Battle Trials, Aizawa continued, "It's Rescue Training!!"

Sighs and cheers alike fill the room, a divided consensus reaching your ears.

"Rescue, huh... sounds like another rough day."

"Right!"

"C'mon, this is what being a Hero's all about!! I'm pumped!!"

"I'll be right at home in a flood, kero."

Glaring at the lot of students, Aizawa grunts out a small, "Hey. I'm not done."

A beat of silence goes around. Then, "Now, it's up to each of you whether or not you wear your costumes. Some of them may be ill-suited to this activity."

Taking out a small remote and pressing its button, Aizawa lets the wall open through, cases with everyone's costumes emerging as he begins to walk out. "The training site is a bit remote, so we'll be going by bus. That's all. Get ready."

Hurriedly, so as not to anger the tired Pro further and to board the bus on time, everyone stood from their seats, reaching for the corresponding cases that contained the outfit they had all created. Not once did anyone slow down, and instead, you all resembled a huge tidal wave, ready to sweep anyone out of the way to reach the locker rooms in one piece.

Once inside, the jittering came explosively undone, the excitement finally getting to those around you as they theorized over what it was the lot of you would do. Asui seemed content with the idea of working through a flood, whereas Uraraka and Ashido hoped that a metropolis would be involved with today's training, both ready to burn and lift anything in their path.

It was a bit endearing, watching them all argue over what it is they wanted to practice with, but you'd never admit to that thought out loud.

Finally done dressing out, you step out of the girls locker room with Uraraka by your side, the brunette having adapted to a custom of staying near you at the beginning of every training session. She always spent that time talking your ear off, nerves about Quirk failures or over exposures getting to her. You'd lend her your attention in the form of hums, and it seemed that that's all she really needed from you in order to feel better.

Today, however, her attitude never faltered, confidence wafting off of her as she walked. Not once did she stop to consider her limitations, focusing instead on how to work to the best of her abilities. Whatever it was that she'd imagined you would be doing had lifted her spirits higher than her Quirk ever could, smile nearly contagious as she bounced in place.

"I know that a lot of people look forward to the action that comes with Hero work, but the Rescue aspect is what I'm into the most! My Quirks kinda useless in a fight, but disaster relief? That's what I'm aiming for!"

You gave the pink cheeked girl a small hum, nodding at her words. "Rescue is a respectable career path. Not many choose it because it doesn't give you many glamour points when out on the field."
